Its 28 episodes in 21 days. How is that long?

If its more freedom that means the leads usually leave the house and palace. I hate that sort of ending.

Its improbable that a female and not an official scholar be the Crown Prince's tutor. The story doesn't seem to be making wild society choices. So far its been fairly sedate with the plot.

Nothing wrong. Just not going to happen in a 40 episode drama and with palace intrigue.

Has anyone seen the trailer for episode 14 please? I started this drama on Wed I think. And between work and family 13 episodes are just too tiring. I just want to know when the sneaky guard issue will be sorted.

Human nature doesn't change. Lecherous and opportunistic people exist through the ages. There are concubines in this story.

I am not expecting this drama to be a pure drama. What have you been watching that you can escape such plots?

The scriptwriter still has to follow the novel somewhat. Its now as if they are writing it from scratch are they?

Ive just caught up to episode the last 2 days.

Am now stuck now with single daily episodes until episode 40? I am too addicted to not watch it and have no patience to accumulate several episodes before watching.

Its a good thing to watch completed dramas because you can avoid those with bad endings. However when you have no patience one is stuck now. I don't think the male lead can emote much but I am addicted to the story line. The 2ML is also not imposing and doesn't present any real competition. So I am not watching this because of the actors. I am watching because the filming and editing is not bad and I like the ensemble plot. However I am now dying for the house guard gangsters to be exposed and the suspense is real.


I don't expect the couple to be that fast. Sigh, its kinda torturous as I don't feel like starting anything else.

I am now on episode 2. You sure the male lead hasn't been dubbed? He sounds different from his usual voice.

Thanks. Good lord her family is massive. I just started episode 1 yesterday and didn't even know who the male lead was. All her uncles were exiled too? Oh my.

Yeah well that is what I normally do but I just finished Sweet Teeth. That drama had not one happy ending but 3. However the writing was so stupid and trite that I have to watch something with emotional depth, good actors and good writing. Hence why I am here. That drama was so shallow that I need a proper drama to balance it out.

There are 30 more episodes. I am sure there will be sufferimg galore. I never did finish one very good Cdrama with a strong FL because of the angst. The 2FL died in that and I have never forgiven that drama.

Sorry. How are you? Its been too much with kids and trying to do translation. I have the stress now of teaching to teach my kids both Korean and Mandarin. Believe it or not my Korean cooking has improved a lot and so is my reading. I watch Kdramas only half
the time these days. Too busy trying to work and squeezing in drama time. My most practice is learning all the dishes and that I can watch cooking videos without subtitles.

I actually stayed because of the acting. The writing is another thing but its not the worst. Lukily its ending in 2 episodes so I can spare the time. I like the FL and have never seen her before. I can stand Do Han the character.

However this show is not batshit crazy for you to get so worked up.

I've just come off such a lame drama- that Ive refused to watch the last episode. I finished till the 2nd last episode.

Now I can star Queen of Tears after this ends. And Legend of Shen Li. Thank god.

Thanks. I have been holding on and holding off until it ended because its a short series. I will start it once I finish catching up on my Kdramas. I am on " Everybody loves me " but can't get into the mediocre writing idol drama. I heard this has chemistry galore hence why I am watching.
