Gosh darn it. I just started this today.

I have just finished ep 3. I have been watching drama with such serious tones that its taken me that long to stop waiting for the other shoe to drop.

This drama is what it is. Candy bright. Light. Typical female masquerading as clever but spilling secrets everywhere in ringing loud tones.

Male lead with the wire work chereographed fights. Brooding. Posing. Wounded.

Lmao.

Even the 2nd couples emerging has made me smile.

I am switching off my brain now to enjoy SWL after many years. He finally looks old enough for his roles.

And Bao Shang En? Now this is what youth looks like huh? We had all the over 30- 38 year old experienced actresses trying to play 16 year old roles. Bao Shang En looks her age. And she can act.

In fact this drama is absolutely stacked with good looking men and really, really ant- waist slim actresses. The girls all look under 45kg. The men are definitely 60kg and under. At most one is 65kg but I wouldn't personally bet on it.

This is a really, really standard candy drama. Its been so long that I couldn't recognise this unicorn.

Look. I wasn't kidding about my colleagues being fit and I was fit as well when younger. The younger ones need it for their jobs. Some need to rappel down cliffs etc.

My kids are also fit and even though I am a drama watcher I am not a sedentary person as well. My kids friends are also into sports. They are young- primary school age- but they get up at 6am for swim training and eve mine ran 5km at 8am for training.

So when I said I notice muscles or fitness levels I wasn't kidding.

So yeah that Miles statement just killed me. I don't actually notice abs. I do notice deltoids. I have arm envy if anything because I envy upper arm strength. Needless to say I notice quads. I have to say though one of the sports one of my children does require extreme fitness and stamina. The people at the club compete at national level sports.

So when I see people who are lean but its naturally lean and not from hard work at the gym or sports you can tell the difference. I was wincing actually at LYN carrying the actress for so long and in the rain. I have carried a person my weight as well as equipment so I do have a lot of empathy and sympathy for those scenes.

Ah. I will go and look. I did. He does look more comfortable being a singer yet he always seem to be doing the tall formal male.

This is a question about Liu Yu Ning. This is not a critique of his acting or his charisma. I have seen him in 2 other dramas. I think one is with LSS. He always has screen presence.

However I am not his fan or specifically seeks out information online.

* cough, cough* now I am. Is the actor the man generally an outdoor or sporty person? Or a gym person?

That's because there has been a lot of hand to forearm exposure. Remember I just watched ep 5 to 19 within 24hrs. His skin is fair like lily white fair. I don't see a single vein at the back of the hand. Neither do I see any sort of musculature or rather veins on his arm. However I do remember him carrying the FL+ the weight of her costume in this drama.

Sorry. Some people swoon over the face. Or abs.

I just happen to notice forearms and the curve of the derriere. That 2nd part is not because of anything its more because it usually means a skinny vs fit lead with skinny legs.

I just happen to have worked my whole life with fit colleagues. Job requirements. Honestly. And we have a lot of 180cm tall fit people whom I see all the time. So its like an occupational hazard when watching dramas. I have been staring at his forearm scenes all day yesterday. Never seen any Chinese actor's forearms being exposed so many times in other dramas. I was a bit bemused.

Isn't this like in ep 19? Shown yesterday? Or it doesn't count as spoilers?

I was watching ep 5- 19. I only finished ep 17- 19 after midnight this morning.

Nitpicking would be if Wei Yan stayed irritating for several episodes. He didn't. His mother endlessly scheming and she did. It was from ep 4 to at least ep 16 right? I forgot which episode they left for Rongjun.

I couldn't care less if we spend less time on revenge on secondary characters. You are expecting perfection. Considering I had to skip multiple episodes of Serendipity and Love Never Fails; couldn't care less we saw WD dealt with. That's why this is in spoilers.

I just watched ep 5 to 19 today. The progression has been slow and steady.

The development is fine and doesn't feel rushed. If you feel that a romance has to be said out loud and kissing? Well I am sure that the older days women don't get a chance to kiss multiple guys before marriage.

So I am fine. Not all shows near it whenever the viewers want it.

I started the day with episode 6 and I am now on ep 14. Is Wei Yan going to stay in this drama?

And if anyone is thinking of starting this; don't. Wait for it to end. I was suffering all of last week waiting for multiple episodes to air. See? I marathoned so many today and soon I would have caught up and then have to wait till ep 30 airs. I have ep 19 to watch then have wait again.

This drama is just lovely. The story just flows. That's actually a rare feat. I remember her being caught in the rain in ep 5 this morning and I am currently at the birthday banquet. The story has really progressed.

I am not even touching the Xiao Zhan and Song WL dramas till it ends. Learnt my lesson. Again. I am currently following 3 on air Korean dramas. So I'm ok just watching them.

Its not the same but it also has pop ups. Looks like I need to download another adblocker.

I just finished ep 6 and 7. I needed to post because I was dying waiting for sufficient episodes to watch. Episode 17 has aired right?

Looking at how fast I finished ep 6 and 7 I cannot believe it took that many days to air 10 episodes. I refuse to buy any WeTV subscriptions because I have both Viki and Netflix. However the wait each time for Cdramas have been torture. I will not even start Legend of Zhang Hai until it ends.

I could have watch it on K**sh but it keeps stopping with ads even with AdBlocker on.

This drama is slick. I had originally watched ep 7 and 7 on it but because of the start and stopping I couldn't appreciate the story flow. Its so nice to actually see the interactions. I had read about what happened in ep 17. I cannot wait for it. The actors really have good chemistry. I also prefer him in this role than another drama of his. I don't remember it but I think he died. I hate it when the male lead dies. Or any lead dying.

I really like an intelligent female lead compared to the helpless coddled female airheads.

I am goinf to skip the rest and start on the Xiao Zhan drama then.l or continue Prisoner of Beauty. I cannot stand wishy washy endings. I also didn't like the whole benevolent vibe for ep 40.

I was rewatching the couple moments from ep 3 to 10 just now. It hit me that this medical drama has a more straightforward romance then the other 5 dramas I am currently watching.

This doesn't even have a romance tag. I might have to bite the bullet and actually follow Jung Jun Won's instagram to add to his popularity. 😁😁

Koo Du Won is even cuter on rewatching. He is just adorable. How did he NOT get caught by anyone until now. He was really focused on his work.

The Kpop dance with Sabi and Jae-il was still as good. I repeated that scene 3 times.

Enjoy ep 12. Its too late for me as I have to work tomorrow. I cannot wait to see what the actual scene will be when the sister finds them in bed. I am literally dying to see how it will play out.

The Koreans do. We are an international viewers site.

This is a KBS2 drama. People forget the dramas cater to the Koreans taste. Not ours. Our viewing does not contribute to the stations ratings. Or the drama's sucess. The ad spots are aimed at the Korean audience.

So in real life Korean neighbours will gossip. Or relatives will gossip. That's why the scripts are what they are. Otherwise the rating would not hit almost 20% for the local ratings. These sort of stories sell.
