I am usually cursing by ep 30 of any KBS2 weekend drama but things are just warming up.

I am actually watching The Haunted Palace, Serendipity, and 2 other dramas but for a quiet mundane moment these 2 experienced actors really generate screen tension. How gratifying. I am looking forward to the coming weeks. I didn't even know I would like him having a hard time but I am enjoying the angst.

Se Ri's parents are a POS. I wish we could disown drama parents because I know it will be lovey dovey in ep 50 but her parents are a POS.

Se Ri is such a pampered Princess that I'm not fully onboard with this romance. However Bom is even worse. Only the 2nd and 3rd brothers girlfriends have some backbone. The other 2 princesses don't look as if they can look after their men.

Just a comment. If the writer is going to throw around Harvard PhD like they are on sale. It cheapens it by making the lead lose his 1st year Professor job by having a relationship with his graduate student. It kinda sits wrongly with me because there are viewers who actually value professional reputation. KDramas just tramples all over them.

Imagine being Jung Jun Won. Experienced. Great actor. Good voice. 180cm tall good height. Good skin, looks fantastc as a 35 year old- time this was filmed.

Imagine Ku Do Won. 5th year resident. Who manages to have great hair, good sense of humour, hard working ethics, supportive, great human, managed to maintain a good physique, great bedside manner.

Then some shallow twit thinks they want a perfect sculpture who has to be a great actor... and to have mimimal age gap as Ku Do Won.

Whether its Jung Jun Won or Ku Do Won, our Dr Ku Do Won is perfect as he is on our screen.

Whether is a real life 8 year gap romance. Or the drama 5 year gap romance Ku Do Won is still the man.

Has that person even been to Korea or knows Korean friends? Jung Jun Won is a very good looking Korean male.

Is he playing a model in a set in the fashion world drama? No. He is the chief resident of a big city hospital. Are students admitted to medical school based on their perfect looks and heights? No.

What I don't like are true horror dramas where the ghosts do really bad stuff. I can't recall a specific one. Maybe the Park Hyun Sik zombie drama? The bad ones there were not nice. I am not in the mood for those sort of dramas.

I remembered that when the couples needed to do a kiss scene in HP; they did good ones except for the one in S1. So I guess there must be a reason. Its not as if both actors are known to NOT do kissing scenes.

I didn't get that upset of the back view. I got more upset that the angle or the filming showed that it was fake- the way the heads were angled- vs the PD deciding not to show it. You know how some dramas have kissing being filmed but it didn't air in the final cut? That didn't feel like a real kiss was being filmed.

Is this that sort of drama? No.

The 2 guards are manly good looking vs idol pretty. I do appreciate it. However I don't even recall seeing them in any other dramas. I can recognise the actors in the other supporting roles.

Its not movie level scary but a " nice " scary if you know what I mean.

I don't particularly like gruesome and horrifying movies. So I am just happy it has story, some horror and watchable. The ghosts are not mindless possessed creatures.

There isn't anything like this currently airing all week. I don't feel like watching a zombie series. I also don't want a horrifying ghost look that will keep me up at night.

I just want something nice to watch so I am happy. Its not as if I am afraid of blood and gore. My job has blood and gore so nothing made up can compare anyway.

" Brother." Would that work? If I was subbing something like this I would put an explanation " casual term " and used " brother. " Alternatively don't even sub it.

This remind me of modern dramas where they used a slang for someone overweight and the subber just used it as his Chinese name.

I am Asian myself and I have been to SK several times... you're not feeding people with a slow metabolism. You think Asians eat so little? I have been on camps and the skinny guys were taking 3- 4 helpings.

That kongguksu dish- that wasn't a lot.

Did you see the kimchi jjim they cooked? That was one pot for like... 11 people. Yes I happened to cook Korean food as well. That was an extremely small amount of pork for like 8 men and 3 women.

That was also one serve of rice and curry as well. Its not as they had banchan etc.

I always hope they use food safe dye otherwise a lot of actors are going to end up with cancers.
