do they clone them? I cannot say if this ML is the same actor or different from the one in The First Frost
No.

The ages are different. The hairline - didn't analyze that. Or their hair colour.

The voices are different. Different timbre. BJT has a smoother tone.

They are both fair. Their ear shapes and positions are different. Their lip shape and fullness are different. They hoth have high nose bridges.

Now the height thing? I cannot honestly say I will say any male 180cm are the same person. This actor is 188-190cm and the other actor is 183cm.
The body shape? This male lead used to be bulkier but they are both currently moderately slim.

I am perpetually mistaken for someone's colleague. Or their family doctor- multiple times from different people. From different East Asian ethnicities. So yeah its completely irritating each time even though I am polite over it.

Take the time to spot the difference. I do even when I see colleagues of similar built, age, hair colour and when they dress the same.

No one gets a love life like them. Its a whole different level of being considerate.
Yes but you see even some writers haven't got such good imagination or even EQ skills. The characters are good but the actors elevated it to a whole different level. I have to thank the director as well. I am still recovering from the episode and will need to rewatch it.

folks is the drama good? should I give it a try?
I don't even normally rate dramas and I purposely went to ep 21 to rate it a 10.

The start might be a bit serious but man this drama is extremely good.

Can someone complain to Netflix about their subs.Netflix is global. Stop using so many American expressions and…
Just a few words missing in sentences. Not verbatim translations for some. American slang applied.
Took the joke out of the Korean lines.

I have a Netflix subscription but I am so irritable with Netflix because you know who the translators are sometimes as their names are written but didn't notice who it is for this series.

I don't like missing the sly jokes.

I was marvelling at how physical some of the scenes were. Kang Tae Oh was in it so I'm glad. I was a bit worried about him not being in a lot of works post discharge. It seems to me that conventionally good looking actors or nice actors don't get huge popularity or employment.

I also didn't realise the actress is Lee Kwang Soo's girlfriend.

I did check out the writer's previous works too.

Either way I just have to turn the volume up higher and depend less on the subs.

The 2nd lead stories are complicated though so that's a moderate worry. Imagine an a divorced ex. It sound as if there was heartbreak etc.

Netflix is global. Stop using so many American expressions and just translate what they hear. That's the basics of bring a translator.

Haven’t watched this drama yet but can someone explain what this drama has to do with hidden love?
The male lead is the older brother of the female lead in Hidden Love

Eh? Didn't the maids in the Crown Prince palace also serve them in other historical dramas?Ifs called a lover.…
By the way the 3 of them are just tragic. All 3 will be unhappy but I seriously think the one person who will be contented in the end will be the Crown Princess. Or ex- CP.

The dutiful Crown Prince after his one rebellion will just be a tragic figure.

What will the writer do? At the end of the day a marriage where they man falls for another woman and wanted her more and forced by circumstances to reconcile with wife; is not going to end up. No matter how many true life examples of spouses who remain together post an affair.

So yeah... if this drama is about relationships I just feel pain for all 3 of them.

Buried Hearts is a must watch too.
I just read the synopsis. I'd hold off till it ends. I just saw Si Jin has started. I think I am going to be overloaded.

I know its popular but is or has the budget been stated as a S+ drama?

Either way, I am backing away from it. I have watched other S dramas and S+ dramas.

I am very familiar with Korean drama schedules. I used to sub and be on viki for Kdramas for years. Thats why I have different series for the different days of the week. So I am going back to regularly scheduled dramas. Finishing off one series. Starting 2 and spending 6 months on a KBS2 weekend series of over 50+ episodes.

The First Frost will end soon. I just need to be patient for The Sure Thing and watch that Liu Shi Shi drama in a few weeks. The only drama I need to marathon again is Hidden Love.

I only need to rewatch el 14- 19 First Frost and have 13 more episodes to finish.

In the meantime I have a heavy workload and some education sessions for my work. That's why I would rather watch something else and just marathon 13 episodes from ep 20-32 over 3 days once it ends.
On The First Frost Mar 1, 2025
The Netflix release is driving me bonkers. Its up to ep 17 then it airs ep 18 on March 4th.

Youku's schedule is also nuts. Why is there only 1 episode on a weekend?

This is one series where we cannot watch while it is airing. I can be mentally prepared if the schedule makes sense but the schedule since episode 1 has no rhythm or reason.

I am literally- Ferris Wheel **** or not going back to ep 14 to ep 19. Then stopping till until the last 4 episodes.

I am going to finish rewatching Hidden Love. Finish off Study Group. Catch up on Scandal of Chun Hwa. Start High School Undercover or whatever its called. Then the other whatever drama called Nemesis. Then Eagle Brother. Plus The Best Thing.

The stop and start and miss and stop episode schedule is just too much for me. See you all next weekend. It should be done by then right?

Eh? Didn't the maids in the Crown Prince palace also serve them in other historical dramas?

Ifs called a lover. Mistress if you want.

However its not a dirty word in the historical context. Why is everyone so bent out of shape about it?

I mean I know you guys are but in the context of this drama he is just another male who has more than one lover besides a wife. I thought the whole point is to see what the writer will do about the plot.
