I don’t know where you are watching from. Why can’t you ignore if you don’t like the commercials?
I don't watch enough Cdramas to justify it. I have Netflix and i get free viki from volunteering. I usuay watch from viki unless I am inpatient like for this drama.
I don’t know where you are watching from. Why can’t you ignore if you don’t like the commercials?
Its part of the episode. It is inserted in the beginning, random middle parts of the episodes. I have AdBlockers on but if I fast forward it then more tabs open up. So I literally don't touch the screen otherwise I waste time closing all those extra tabs.
It could be part of the contract, so if 'making better ones' as in not showing off the sponsors, I doubt they…
Sorry. I meant the commercials . The ones with the cast advertising the malls and what- not. Its not the PPL. Its actual ads in the middle of the episodes.
Ok I admitted I skipped ep 11 then went straight to the last 15 minutes.
I am still unsure if I want the angst of ep 11. So can somone spoil me with the answers? Thank you.
Practical me wants to know what happened family- wise with Hee Joo and her family?
How did he or they afford such a nice house? What does the mysterious smile mean when he didn't answer about his future plans? I mean what is his identity that he could have retuned as the spokesperson. Too much angst in this drama. I want to know the ending but don't want to watch it.
Sorry. You guys can be fans. I just want to know the answers. This in spite of me being a massive YYS and CSB fan in other dramas. This story is not my style.
I need to wait 35 more minutes for ep 18. This drama is really addictive in its storytelling. I am not even thinking about romance. The story goes so off tangent most of the time I don't even know where its going. Its not going through the standard cliches you see.
WHY THERE IS NO ENGLISH SUBTITLESIS IT DRAMA EPISODE 11
That was the funniest comment I've read for a long time. Yes a live stream is what it is. Live streaming. All currently airing Kdramas don't have subs when they air on Korean tv. That's why I spend so much time learning Korean.
Done. Excellent slice of life drama. Beautifully shot, nicely written and I like the characters. They were fleshed out enough and it still managed its story in 18 episodes.
This drama is just aesthetically beautiful. Junhao and Josephine's outfit in their last scene were just strikingly compatible and looked like a photo.
Mai and Le actually got more than I anticipated since she left her company.
Casey's approach to her parents actually blindsided me. Yes you idiotic writers- we don't need to forgive our bad parents. Its a cliche. I am so happy she was able to say it.
However back to the whole sepia tone in the drama? It just made Macau absolutely stunning. I've lazed my summer evenings quite nicely watching this.
Its past midnight now so will rate it later. However this drama certainly told a story.
Episode 15 caught me by surprise. It went from light hearted fun to some serious issues. The acting is very good here from the supporting cast. Good solid acting. I have been so used to lame, inexperienced actors who can't act that having good solid actors caught me by surprise. I was suddenly more invested in the scenes than anticipated. I might even have gotten a bit teary at the whole work ethics scenes.
By the way I like the CGI here. I like it its not so super flashy like some of the other dramas.
Only in ep 1, it gets better after that. But I agreed that I get the spinning spell watching ep1.
Its not done very often. The PD has some impressive credentials because I read his cv online. Its super impressive. Its more impressive than almost 90% of the directors doing Cdramas.
Episode 1 made me dizzy. I've never met a director that literally switches a scene each time the speaker is on screen. Multiple times.
Geez. Couldn't he have panned back?
Long, long ago I actually edited dramas and so I know my timing especially since I sub. The lines were short which means each scene was only seconds long. And the director did it like over 20 times. Ok I exaggerated it might have been more the 15 times mark. This better not continue for the rest of the drama.
LolThey are making 40 episodes of content like side character development in 18 episodes, which is unnecessary…
Well I like the side characters. There is no evil plot lines. Just an extremely well done slice of life drama. I like it. A lot. I am happy its not only the 2 main couple.
Its more the fact that the police team is massive. And they used all the resources for one case. Do you know how…
Which country are you in? I am in Australia and no one makes it to the detective unit first year. You're a probationary constable in the first place.
You're talking a fresh cop post university and to Captain in 5 years. I have no clue which country promotes that fast.
Arrest rate high. Wait... there will not be a high arrest rate. Look at the one case they have been on. I can understand promotion with a high arrest rate but it also means a high crime rate. Routine investigations are done by the beat cops. High arrest rates for crimes yes. Most homicide cases are not that easy. Arrest yes but it they need time to gather evidence.
I've come from another country where the govt do accelerated promotion for the elite but 5 years from Uni to Captain? I'd make sure to ask if anyone in my state or interstate has done that. Even the armed forces officers I know on fast track promotions don't get Captain in 5 years.
So which country promotes police university cops to Captain in 5 years? Wow. It must be nice for them then. You're like a baby with just 5 years on the force.
Perspectives. Things that you guys like or dislike.
I like that nothing is clear cut. That the writer doesn't pretty up reality.
The inmature dad. Or actually both dads. Make it 2 dads and one douchebag dad- that was Casey's. Jia Jia's is like an old dog. Oblivious. Self centred. Set in his routine. Everything must revolve around him. Flirting? I don't think he even knows what it is. I just think he basically thinks he's the best in everything.
I really like the Frank storyline by the way.
And they didn't sugarcoat a long distance romance. You have 2 workaholics. 1 professional sportsperson and 1 who prioritises his quality of life. How is love and fairydust going to solve this issue? Its not and that's precisely why I like it.

Edit- I am talking about actual commercials. The actors are in costume but in a modern ad. Then the actress playing Li an in modern clothing.

I am already on 5 other dramas. See you on the other sites.
Interesting. I'm looking forward to all 4 episodes now.

I've watched till episode 16 and am not bored.
