Gosh. I just checked out the cast. I like cast and looks- wise the director seems to be going for a type.

Looking at the resume- I like the dramas he directed. I mean the vibe of the drama and the moody scenery. Looks like I'm staying for the rest. Talk about a Christmas present. I might actually go rewatch " Fake it till you make it " as well. I did like the drama. I just sped through a completely " light and fluff" Cdrama yesterday and looks as if I've come to the main course.

I just finished ep 1. Accidentally. I couldn't work out what the poster was and was confused with the other completed drama.

Wow. The flow is very polished. Is the director going for a slick production? The actors are obviously very good looking but they are styled so aesthetically pleasing. The voices are so well modulated and not shrieking or shrill. The vibe is looking moody and arthouse like.

Where did this drama spring from? The whole tone is so different from the usual dramas. The leads are also not young ingenue so thank God we might actually have a mature drama.

Now writer/s please don't let me down. The 4 leads are so attractive. It I were a guy I'd like the girls. If I were a woman I'd like the men. Er... not so much for a relationship but definitely a Macau romance. Lol.

That's so bizzare. I only just discovered this on K** sh this morning but find that its complete on viki.

Oh well I am looking for a romance drama today. I read some spoilerly comments which were disappointing so I have to stop reading. However I have liked the actress previous works and like the male lead. I have to give it a try right?

I was thinking that as I was watching the same scene. Because I missed a few episodes I really thought the drama switched the male leads.

Can anyone please tell me what happened to the Zhao guy, the General's daughter and Shuge Hong?

Ep 40 left me speechless. That fight wasn't epic at all. The whole death and tragedy wasn't well done.

I don't even detect a hint of sadness that Yuniang; the love of her brother and her BFF died.

The Bai Sheng death was an anti- climax. Killing the General just like that was a fizzer that fell flat.

And that wedding? After 40 episodes you guys still didn't get a proper wedding? 39 episodes.... things could have been down somewhere there.

Walking up alone is not as epic as the director thinks. There isn't enough gravitas in the last scene

I am watching " time to fall in love. " The actor is stereotyped but at least his projects are consistent. He is a guy who gets the girl.

I don't have brain cells for anything else. My reports are more exciting than any dramas. Police, bomb threats, helicopters landing, preventing someone from being attacked or strangled. So yeah I,wanted something simple. His dramas are usually simple.

Lol. Gosh this reminds me of the other drama where they killed ALL the friends.

This drama was on my backburner. I can fast fw the 2nd lead? Cool. I will start it then.

The couple of Kdramas I was following just fell flat. This is still ok I guess because the main couple is still a main couple. I will try to ignore the evil characters since I can skip the scenes since people commented at length. Thank you for those who posted in spoilers.

Its the 18th Dec right? Guess I will find something to read in the meantime since dramaland is dry. I am not in the mood for any serious dramas. Looking for a good romance because I'm flat out with work and I want to chill at night. I think my brain is about to explode trying to summarise 60 audits by undergrads. And writing 4 reports and about 200 incidence summaries.

All I want is a main couple who can act, have chemistry and has a good flowing script. Anyone? Any recommendations? Honest query. I am half asleep heading to work at 7am and I have a meeting at 8am. Did I mention its school holidays and I have kids? So yeah I really need a good romance drama. I have probably watched some of them before but can rewatch it. Its lucky I like the directing and the main couple enough to return to ep 15- 34 later. It will be this week right?

The stand out... not necessarily for this drama has to be good directing, good lighting, good stunt co- ordinator including some good riding skills, classy costumes, good acting, fast pace, characters with enough back stories.... some good skinship scenes.

Yes. A definite ending. Most dramas are wishy washy.

Not a lot of crying scenes. From the FL. Preferably no almost sexual assault.

What else? Good CGI and for God sakes none of the fake CGI fireworks. Plus don't pollute the sky with the lanterns. The huge sky full of fake lanterns CGI are worse.

Too clean streets when they shoot street scenes.

A flowing plot. I'd take a 25% ridiculous margin.

2 nice side couples.

The evil people die and suffer before dying. No redemption.

So? This fits. So far. So yeah. Its better than most.

Oh. Good OSTs. Good dubbing. Preferably no dubbing

The only memorable drama was Shaolin. Oh wait.. it was a series of movies. No Chinese drama has been original.

The FL always suffers. The main couple always have bad parents. Their friends always die. They always get betrayed.

3/4 of these have one of the lead die. Literally.

Almost all have open ended ending.

I am. I was just planning to go from ep 15 to 34 in one go. All this 1 episode a day is killing. Its Wed now . I am hoping that once it hits ep 30 it will be express release. Its not as if I have nothing to do. I mean work- wise. Viki is releasing ep 23-24 tonight. I am too lazy to go to a streaming site and besides I need to prepare for Cnristmas. Not much time for dramas. Looking for recipes. Not dramas.

At this point.... I need to ask. Did you guys reach the angsty points? I watched ep 15-18 casually when it first aired. I think the subs were bad. I was waiting for viki episodes when it is easier to fast forward. I have AdBlocker but it still happens when I watch it on the online streaming sites.

Should I wait then till the express package is announced? I've literally put Blossom and Brocade Oddsey on hold. BO is because its boring. Blossom is because I'm afraid of the ending.

I like Blossom's directing you see. I also like Song Mo's subordinates. I don't like the FL's whiney, not so clever friends. So if the show kills off his soldiers I ain't going to watch once I know the ending. That's my rationale anyway.

Isn't he an actor that does full length dramas? How come he's in a web drama and his co- star is so inexperienced?

I know weekend dramas are makjang but some are more than others.
