No drama is perfect. I will take these over expletives, self centred Western style dramas. The self centred delusional sadistics, abusive ones are the parents in Asian dramas.

Leaving me to focus on the main couple. My god the chemistry has been insane even with the restrained behaviours. The directing and the absolutely beautiful costumes and props here kept me coming back.

Although I really winced at all those outdoor scenes knowing how burning hot and humid it could be. How did the actors not be burned red?

So yeah.... you mean there is an Asian drama with either wonderful parents, siblings or ex partners? No way...


By the way, the mother's voice beats Nanny Fran by a 100 times and yes I would have disowned her type in real life. However I
would't rate the drama down just because of one person. I think it was ep 14? Yeah I have not had butterflies in my stomach over an onsceeen couple for a long, long time. That's why I still prefer Asian- style dramas.

There is a special torture in watching those parents knowing that bloody hell it happens in real life. Yes I am Asian. It almost causes me PTSD watching it but guess its because we know that children still let shit like this happens in real life. And won't run away.

I just saw his previous dramas. The close up showed the foundation or rather make up. This drama? Perfect. I have never seen him that good looking in modern clothes too. They obviously hired a good stylist or wardrobe team. Everyone was dressed nicely.

I finally finished. You know its not that bad a drama. The only part lacking were the romances. Did something happened and no one was allowed to kiss?

The filters on their looks were great and kind.

The acting was good. The child actors were really good this time.

The CGI wasn't bad. Only the stupid CNY fireworks was out of place. And killing everything with winter just because MM wanted snow was nuts.

The flow was good. The villains were not too comical and cartoon- ish.

The ending? They actually spend time justifying the links vs the abrupt change in tone.

So.... it hasn't bad but why didn't the director or writer write in any hot romance? I have never seen the camera been so kind to the male lead. He was actually radiant. Perfect skin. I still can't stand the hair accesories. Fu Yi was like a stoned face model.


So yeah. Nil complaints. No rewatch value though as no scene was good enough to rewatch. No especially griping scenes. Definitely no romantic scene to rewatch.

I held off watching ep 29-32 because of that.

The modern ending? I was expecting it so no biggie. All the Cdramas have been doing that so don't know why people are surprised or upset.

I had stopped watching till i knew the drama was ending.

So I've been diligently watching from ep 13 a couple of days ago and just finished ep 28 yesterday.

Yes there's no main couple kiss and the 2nd couple was sedate.

However when I was watching the episodes continuously it actually was kinda smooth. The flow was there and it was way more entertaining than I an ticipated. I would usually be irritable with someone by now but not with this drama. The CGI wasn't too outlandish.

Anyway I have yet to see ep 29-32 but since all I wanted was some entertainment it did its job. Not the most thrilling drama but its certainly very watchable and I didn't feel as if I wasted my time.

Don't. Do something diferrent.

Then when I want a break I watch My Cherie Amour. Thats a Thai drama; the one language I need subs for.

Then when I get fed up with cliches I am watching the Korean chef show. The Culinary Class Wars.

Then for work I am revising Excel short cuts.

My brain doesn't get confused then. Oh English? Grand design- the building your home series.

Oh please that is SO OLD. I like that sort of story even less than a misunderstanding. Shesh. Adrenaline flows and people make impulsive decisions in life and death situations. Or they freeze.

I am on ep 5. And I swear I saw something on ep 3 ending and Anong finding out he is a widower. However I can't find the scene in ep 4.
