Hey this is a swashbuckling adventure. Why did I expect a normal time travel drama?
I feel as if I'm reading a historical thriller. Its bright. Its fast. Its fun.
I didn't expect the male lead to have supporters so fast. 40 episodes? This drama has 40 episodes? I am now contemplating whether I'd even play a video game called " Guardians of the Dafeng."
Once my mind reconciles the reality of this drama universe I might let go of this being a normal " serious" time travel drama. Far out. How come I wasn't expecting this? Did you guys know it was going to be this sort of drama? I spent quite a lot of time chortling.
Jeez, all im seeing in these comments section are complaining about everything.
Ok. I won't scroll down then. I am about to start episode 1. No point reading if all the viewers do is complain. Why are they still watching? I've waited till ep 20 so that by the time I catch up it will be ending.
Questions for people who ride motorcycles. Does Jo have enough arm strength to handle the turns on her bike? She is tall but exactly muscles everywhere. All you guys who ride the full size bikes and not the little 250cc ones.
I didn't even know I missed listening to Cantonese. The vibes are cool. The subbers are also slightly off in the Cantonese
I can't work out the relatives on board the plane. Why did Jia Jia and the oldest son have to be done next week? They were insane giving both sets of parents no notice.
I can't be bothered updating or reviewing on MDL. I don't read Chinese but can understand Mandarin so come to MDL for plot spoilers because I don't have that much free time.
I have been watching dramas for awhile. I used to sub Korean and Mandarin dramas into English on viki. I watch dramas for relaxation for also to keep my ear tuned. However I don't watch huge numbers although I usually watch 4-5 dramas at a time.I don't watch heavy, political, thriller dramas.
Our FL definitely needs help from a mental health professional. She is very unstable emotionally. She just did…
Er does that mean I shouldn't start? I only have Blossom going at present, When the phone rings, love your enemy and the last few episodes of My cherie amour.
I feel the need for something fresh. The other 2 modern dramas have older leads and is slow.
I've read the spoilers so knew there was a freaking long time jump. Its wy longer than is logical.
It's not that great but since its ended I can fast forward parts.
None of the airing dramas are addictive..To be honest work has been crazy. I mean not crazy busy but crazy as in I want to thump some people over their stupidity. So having a kinda disappointingly boring, cliched drama has been relaxing. Honestly. Gong Jun is really stiff. He is on older version of those young super young wooden actors. Its one of the worst most unconvincing doctor roles I've seen in over 30 medical dramas.
Does he have legal guardianship of her? If he is just the biological father but didn't have regular visitation…
No. I am not talking about the drama. There will probably an improbable reason.
I am replying to the OP talking about their school days that all school staff will know.
We are talking Kdrama- land here. Where they reveal medical secrets. Police reports are leaked to the public- this is real Korean reality. Where kids are picked up by random people and not the adults on file.
Drama facts will or probably be idiotic. However I have no idea which country the OP is but where I am I have to get a National Police clearance and a,Working with children pass just to take photos at my kids sports carnival. As a representative. And no other parents of the other hundreds of kids can take videos or photos of even their own child.
So the school having a handle on things these days. Vs the olden days are different.
Regarding episode 8, do you think the child actors will have PTSD?
My kids do surf lifesaving and one will hopefully qualify to be a lifeguard. This is not from an ambitious parent but more a parent who doesn't want a child not to know the ocean and drown. I live in Australia.
We have kids doing training and the young teenagers having to rescue drowning victims. Or young as they are see people pulled in and see CPR. This is like when about 50- 100 kids are doing their routine training.
So I guess the writer writing that scene must have triggered me more than I thought. My kids swim through choppy waters and strong currents. The scene was in fairly calm waters. I've been to SK several times and my kids went to the public swimming pools and we have seen swimmers in oceans. I don't think swimming is routinely learnt? Not like here when kids get a whole week of water safety each school year and learn rescue swim.
I suddenly realize most Kdramas don't usually show scenes where the victim is actively pushed to drown. They usually show them sinking in waters. Or the adult adults heing killed etc.
Not a kid being pushed. Shesh. My kids are young by the way not even teenagers, they have been flipped off boards, pushed and swim against currents during training. So we have seen them swallowing water and pushed through. However we didn't see many strong swimmers when we were on holidays. I went to 2 other countries. The children are all pool swimmers and they were a lot of kids who were poor swimmers.
So yeah. That scene. Shesh. That writer. Or the stunt director. Or the parent of the child. Plus it was at night. Crikey.
why the hell that male nurse teacher hide his identity as the student's father though? what is the reason? i find…
Does he have legal guardianship of her? If he is just the biological father but didn't have regular visitation rights or the daughter doesn't acknowledge him. I haven't watche ep 9 yet. I am just saying not all families are complete nuclear families. In real life.
Fyi where I live not all parents have legal rights to be acknowledged as the parent the school calls as emergency contact etc.
The innocent days where you know a child has a father and a mother are gone. Divorce doesn't break the relationship or the school knowing it but you know its a kdrama. It is usually a murky back story. Here its usually hecause of a restraining order or the guardianship is under someone else. Not the parents.
Don't make me laugh. We just had a bomb threat in the waiting room this week. It was badly handled. In real life.I…
Probably. It was literally as I said. Nah. No need to keep it a secret as there were at least 100 witnesses and the police were there. Security decided or rather one decided he is the hero and opened the bag. Stories? I guess... someone dropped organs in the bin and people thought it was a human liver. It was big.
Anyway suffice to say my real life is usually better than dramas.

Have you been to SK? There are a lot of smokers. And omg drinking? There is less drinking in Kdramas than in real life.
So there.
And she is part of this 2 couple drama.
Isn't she in either the marketing or business department? She has fine features and I find her absolutely lovely.
The other is a straight up cliched " break loose " after work sexy character cliche.
Your expectations would not be met if you have classified or pigeon-holed the other main leads

My brain can switch off.

That was CGI? Whew. I will go look at the scene again then.

However let me watch ep 34 first.

What happened or how did it happened?
I'm switched off anyway but wanted to know
I m watching Love Again 2020 and 2024 so feeling mellow
I am about to start episode 1 and its made me laugh so much.
JH never does a realistic drama. Wasn't he a soldier in love with a doctor in another drama?
