In S2, concubine sent by King N to ML was there a while, but she was dismissed earlier episode in S2, I think. I didn't like her, so I skipped some of the scenes 😂 She wasn't that important to the story.

True, it took me 3-4 episodes to recap S1 😂 (S2 Ep1 did have recap but my mind was taken away by 'A dream within a dream' and I couldn't concentrate to this one much 😂)

Yes, it was still worth my time. The plot was good and romance were good. It was just not as good as S1. The reason was due to 6month break in between and the angst were not there 😂

It would have been better if it was made in 40 eps and just one season. S1 was such a great story, but due to the cut in two seasons and we had to wait for S2 to be aired half a year, I kind of lost the passion I felt during the S1. It was like someone throw me ice cold water at the end of S1. It took me 4-5 eps to bring back the atmosphere from S1.

Anyway, it was still good to watch this drama. Beautiful costume and hair-do, great chemistry of 2 main leads.

Hummmmmmm... after I read your comment, I rewatched Ep1 where group discussion was made with everyone at the table. When actor NF left room with his assistant ( I think she is Fugai 😂), NF stopped 2 sec and looked at SX's back and stared at her back2 sec. I wonder NF is actually NH and he already knew who SX was during the meeting. so NF=NH..... Ep1 NF and Ep40 NF both wore same sunglasses😎 I am more confused 😂

So the epilogue ending is kind of OE, bcoz director wants audiences to make own ending?

I may agree with you. There is only ONE female lead SX, and NH/NF cannot exist in ONE demention so NF disappears from the makeup room, and NH is in modern world by going thru portal.....I think I can accept that 👍 I wish director will explain his ending intention later 😆

I am only at Ep18 and ML/FL are having very happy time together. I feel like quiet and peaceful moment before the storm comes. I think I will wait all are aired and binge watch next week. I also hope this is HE...... Many female success drama ends up kixxing ML....

This director and screenwriter are brilliant to make us argue and guess what was happening during the airing and they again succeeded to make us argue and guess what exactly happened at the VERY END. Director needs to explain exactly what happed at the epilogue! Who was in costume travel to modern time from portal door, and who was in the make up chair? NH?NF? That's all I want to know! Can you please explain so that I can settle my confusion????? 😂

If you have Intro and outro skip set up, you will miss it. Mine was set as so, and I just UNDO that function and I was able to watch the very last epilogue. Try it.

That scene was too funny. If he will have a baby, they can do only C-section 😝 😝 😂

I read some blog noted that this scene was actually filmed during the summer and costume was like 5kg+ and it was super hot. He sweated a lot with scratches around his neck area from the costume. I need to praise for him and entire actors / crews for such hardworking !

Yeah, my iQIYI app also went straight to BTS and missed it but I found it at X. I wonder why iQIYI subscribers like you and I cannot see that epilogue. That modern scene made a huge difference of understanding the very end!!!

Lots of C-drama starts great and directors rush for closing and it will ruin it badly at the end, but this is one of the best ending. Brilliant screen plays and directing! I truly enjoyed this drama!

No, I haven't watched it. I hardly watch Modern Drama except'Meet Yourself'. It wad good. 'Will love in spring' has good score, I may try watching ! Thanks for info.

BTW, Costume drama needs some make up, but sometimes it's too much 😆 I recently watched Allen Ren's 'The demon hunter's romance' and due to his character, it was very minimum make up. He looked so good in that drama and it was indeed great drama!
