Master of My Own

I am currently watching Vincenzo. I have never watched it before and it isn't my usual type of drama I watch, but I got my husband into it as well. He finished before I did. I am still on episode 16, but I am actually enjoying it.

me too. This has actually made me comment on more dramas I have watched or am currently watching (i.e. MoMO and Vincenzo).

While I am waiting for that one and many others to come out and after finishing WRTW and Master of My Own. I will be checking out Simmer Down (have to watch Leon Lai), Love in Flames of War (Leon Lai again), Wind Blows from Longxi, and Blue Flame Assault (all those have finished or are almost done). Also waiting on a couple of Kdramas to finish airing so I can binge them.

These are all I my list as well, especially the top 5 and Song of the Moon. I have been throwing in some Kdramas as well. I like watching Modern Kdrama and ancient Chinese dramas.

I loved Sunshine of my life. But I am becoming a huge Zhang Han fan. His romantic drama series are all so good.

they actually contradict each other. NM is very successful, business orientated, hard working, strong, independent female and her best friend is a clingy, whiny, controlling, simpering, pushy female

I agree. I don't understand why all these people are saying YY's acting isn't good. I thought he was amazing here. Granted there are production problems, script, and directing problems, but his scenes are sincere and his acting is really good. I think YY and ZLS have great chemistry (to me it is more sibling type, but in the show you can feel the romantic chemistry). I don't care what anyone says, granted the drama isn't great, but the acting by all the actors is superb.

I really like TSY and her dramas are always a good watch, as well as LGX, but this one is getting boring. This last episode imo, there was no progress. I honestly have nothing to complain about the acting, it is great. The story itself is blah. This last episode was just almost fillerish to me and especially with so few episodes left. The little way they keep saying "my friend" it is getting stupid to me. I understand why, but stop already. We know y'all are trying to be "friends" don't need to put more emphasis on it. The way ML's dad is talking to his son is aggravating as well. Why can't any of these people talk like adults. Just frustrated with the lack of progress in this drama when there are really good actors in it.

there is hardly any comedy in this at all imo, maybe a few spots here and there, but for the most part no comedy, it is a more serious "romantic" office drama, and I think the romance is not written very well, it is lacking

Exactly!! I agree 100% I do have favorite actors and actresses whose dramas I will prioritize and watch, but I actually do watch lesser known as well if the story and the acting is good. There are well known actors that have done some bad dramas, so as you said a lot of it is all about the story, editing, and production of a show.

I really do hope they change that part. I would hate to see her commit suicide. That would be heartbreaking. Already bad enough, that we see what a jerk her boyfriend turns out to be. I thought he was so nice.

I think the first one I watched her in was Oh! My Emperor, but the one that really got me into watching her dramas was The Romance of Tiger and Rose, after watching that one, I watched all her past dramas and kept up with her current ones. I also watched the Autumn Fairy Tale movie, mainly at first because of Xu Kai, but her performance was excellent. I have become an avid fan.

So I am a bit bothered and curious as to why the 2ML wants to go after the ML. He just comes back from being abroad all this time and now it seems he is targeting ML. I think he started targeting ML from the beginning. I don't think that bar scene was coincidental, where we are first introduced to the 2ML. Other than ML being rich and successful, you would think there has to be some more backstory and not just because a 2nd gen rich kid stole his girlfriend. He is going after his father's company, and FL, etc. very curious...

I am glad she noticed, now if she would just end it with him. She should have ended right when he came to the hospital and went off on her. Telling her she was naive, etc.

I know I am asking for a spoiler, but I don't understand why LJM would go bankrupt if his father loses his own company. Does LJM try to bail him out? Also why are they going after his dad's company vs going straight after Joint Capital?
