I completely agree. While sure it’s good to say “Don’t even start with drugs because addiction sucks” they just made a hopeless ending. giving Loony a happy ending wouldn’t have made it seem like drug addiction is some easy thing to overcome.

Also I’m sorry but the way they set it up made no sense? A sting operation to catch a drug addict by giving them drugs they wouldn’t have had otherwise. I understand he could’ve gotten them elsewhere but the police should be more focused on the guy providing the drugs than the one taking them.

So frustrating all around….

I honestly have no idea what the scriptwriter was thinking. Over halfway through and I just…. what is going on? it feels like all the negative things about fanfiction squished together. And I say this as someone who loves fanfiction and thinks there are quality stories made by fans.

As someone who hasn’t seen the Chinese version, it doesn’t feel rushed at all. So it may just be because of you having watched the original and having something to compare it to.

I guess it’s not important in the sense that the mother is already at fault for leaving two children alone in their home for two days and without food from what I remember San Ha saying at one point.

oh for sure for sure. I mean everyone has different tastes and that’s totally fine. at the very least there is nothing offensive about Lovely Runner that should really warrant genuine hatred. I think some people just want to be mad at something no matter what.

I mean there is nothing wrong with liking or disliking something. I think some people are just shocked by how high the rating is based on the many criticisms they have. like the show or don’t, doesn’t affect me. But, people can have their critiques as well.

I think you mean that he had an alibi. I feel like witness is more when someone “witnesses” a crime.

I would prefer no crime was committed of course, so if that’s the case, that’s good. We’ll have to see what comes up from the investigation. If justice is needed, hopefully it will come swiftly.
