Someone tell me, Does ML already know that the FL has a PhD?
As of ep 10 nope, he doesn't even remember that they had met in college.

Depends on which ending you choose to consider. The ending in ep 30 is open leaving whether they end up together…
Neither ml remembers their previous lives, but Mu Ze overhears LAR mumbling while asleep about about their first life together.

surprisingly it wasn't! I had the same feeling, but turns out its HE (shown in the extra last episode) :)
Nope, MC is very much alive in ep 30 and MZ dies. I'm not sure which trailer you watched, but for sure MC and LAR will be fine so watch without worries.

Lol same. I watched those two as well. Have you watched Who Rules the World? It's not a frivolous drama but it is a good one. If you are looking for something frivolous to watch, I recommend A Romance of the Little Forest. Yu Shu Xin is in it and her co-star is Vin Zhang. 8 episodes are already out.

Wat is the ending in raw version.. can some one tell me spoilers😅
Depends on which ending you choose to consider. The ending in ep 30 is open leaving whether they end up together or part ways up to the view. The extra episode ends with LAR choosing to be together with MC as she doesn't want to live with regrets in her life.

Finished the last episode including the alternative ending. I am confused- thought LAR was to accept her fate…
The last episode essentially leaves the ending open to interpretation. The extra episode is set 5 years after ep 30 so it seems to be the real ending. LAR, I think, changes her mind about not being with MC (even though he becomes the crown prince) as she sees that he genuinely refuses to give up on loving and she still loves him. She mentions that to not choose him or to choose him would leave her with regrets. Their friends also help them along by staging a kidnapping and shoving them together in a room XD. The ending dialogue is her saying basically, "Life is too short to live with regrets. I don't want to lose my chance with you (MC)."

Yes this drama has been rather though provoking in interesting ways. :) Unfortunately translations often are unable to grasp the nuances of the original language. It will be interesting to see how people translate that phrase.
What other drama's have you watched lately? I've seen quite a few good ones too but am always on the look out for more.

Yes with everything that culminated in ep 30 LAR is really exhausted added to that her status, as a treasonous prince's widow and her inability to have children, makes their relationship unlikely realistically. Yet the extra episode doesn't seems to be an alternative ending as it is set 5 years after the events in ep 30. The explanation is that after they've both had time to recuperate they are able to let go of the pains of the past and come together as they both truly love each other and since their love for each other is true perhaps they will be able to overcome the objections to their match. Either ending though I think is fitting, like Zhuangzhi and the butterfly what is reality could merely be a dream or the dream could be reality. :)

There's no real explanation of why she remembers her previous life. She just dies in her first life after she finds out that her husband Muze only married her to scheme and become the emperor and also is executing her entire family for treason (except for her evil half-sister). In rebirth novels or manhuas the ml/fl dies with lots of regrets or wants revenge and then wakes up in their younger self with their past life memories. It's a trope that doesn't really explain itself. My rationalisation is that because the ml/fl died with so many regrets and anger towards those who have wronged them that they essentially willed themselves or fate into giving them a second chance.

The ML is supposedly Mu Chuan, Muze's younger brother. Mu Chuan is the kind, righteous, and straight-forward type. Muze is the secondary ml who is a complicated evil jerk. Mu Chuan unfortunately is overshadowed by how much more charismatic and mature the actor and character of Muze is, in my opinion.

It's HE, but you have to watch the special extra episode for the real ending.
Your welcome, if the link stops working or in the future you want to find other cdramas my best advice is to copy past the Chinese name along with the words 網上看 and you should always be able to find a few websites with raws available. Sorry I can't help with subs though

I'm more confused after reading the description. How is it so far? Much romance? Any love triangles?
In the first lifetime LAR loved MZ (MZ possibly loved her) and they were together while MC silently loved LAR. In the second lifetime LAR hate MZ and falls for MC, but in a twist MZ also falls in love with her. MC, in both lifetimes, fell for LAR at first sight. The romance is subtle as the storyline has a lot of twist and turns (angst galore!). There aren't a lot of lovely dovey romance scenes of the couple together though. The story is more focused on LAR trying to overcome and change the events that happened in her first lifetime (shown in episodes 1-3). It's worth a watch as the premises of 'rebirth' is an interesting and different take from the transmigration genre dramas such as Scarlet Heart.

Anran references zhuang zhou butterfly dream. Would you know what she meant? Was she talking about herself or…
I think she was talking about herself and MZ's life times together. MZ's letter references how she told him when she was asleep about their first life together where she whole heartedly loved him. (sorry I got this wrong in the previous comment). He said in his last letter to her how he is jealous of his first life self as to him receiving her love in this second life time together would have been the thing he dreamed of having the most. LAR is reminiscing about how everything that had happened (first life time) and has happened (second life time) was like a dream, but whether it was a good dream or a bad dream even she herself doesn't have an answer. She has suffered so much in both this life time and the last perhaps she has woken up to finally live her life now that MZ is dead or is she still stuck like Zhuang Zhou and the butterfly in a never ending dream of happiness. She's finally gotten away from MZ but can she let go of all the pains and regrets from both her life times or is happiness nothing but a dream, unachievable in reality.

Lol there's not really a set way of explaining this scene as it's really philosophical, but these are kind of just some of my thoughts when she references the Zhuang Zhou butterfly dream.

Here's a more detailed explanation of the butterfly dream:
