I've read the Chinese censorship article here. Please take a look, I didn't just outright say Chinese censorship is rigid without proof. I'm also asian. Even other countries called China's censorship one of the most strict around the world. If you ask me, there's also advantage. In our country, it's very in on a love story and drama today about romance and adultery, I don't like that kind of drama, at least China don't have that.

You're definitely right about confirming whether a rumor is a rumor or if the information is reliable. The talks about making the censorship is not official. But a lot of netizens who doesn't like BL genre in China are making waves about it online. About Chinese censorship, I called it rigid because I made a research beforehand. Chinese censorship forbids too much blood and violence. That's the reason why Xiao Zhan's drama The Wolf took almost 3 years to air. Apparently it didn't pass censorship because of too much blood. They also don't allow reincarnation/rebirth Buddhist concept. That's why in Douluo Continent drama, they removed the fact that Tang San is in fact a reincarnator who remembered his past life and use it to his advantage. They also don't allow too much cleavage, a few years ago, a drama was stopped airing because of that and only resumed after they censored the cleavage. They also don't allow outright child abuse or adultery or things that depicts the dark side of society(I don't know each and every single thing that encompass that). But I made my point. I called Chinese censorship rigid not because it's different in my country and I meant no offence to Chinese. When I said rigid it's rigid compared to my country I hope I didn't offend any Chinese here. And about the romance tag, I personally think Starkongbini is right, it refers to Mo Ran thinking he's inlove with Shi Mei at the start of the story.

How I wish, right? But chinese censorship is so rigid, they might outright ban the whole drama if they implied a lot more than they should have. WOH already toed the line of chinese censorship to the point that there are talks of making censorship even more strict.

The edited mtl is quite readable. Not as good as translated ones but at least someone out some effort to correct the grammars.

Finish the novel and you will know that the possibility of Mo Ran ending with Shi Mei is zero... Since you're reading the book, I won't spoil you unless you want to. But you don't have to worry about that.

Sabrina Chen got bashed last year when it first came out that she's playing Shi Mei. Meatbun is in a hurry to placate the netizens that the script stayed true to the novel as much as it can and even keeping a lot of the iconic lines...

And when you think about it, Shi Mei is Hua Binan and Hua Binan is the main antagonist??? How the heck are they going to twist the story to the point of making it unrecognizable just for Shi Mei and Mo Ran became a thing??? Lol, no way. Even the insider blogger that claimed he/she watched a few episodes of HYX said Shi Mei was hardly seen and her role is very minimal.

If I remember correctly, it was due to Chu Wanning's soul. It was still slowly integrating to his body and when he saw bugui, it's still incomplete . Some w/ Mo Ran, some he left w/ Huaizui and the incense. Why can't he control bugui??? Isn't because Taxian-jun claimed it already??? The bugui he saw on 2.0 timeline is probably not the sword in that timeline, it's probably the bugui of Taxian-jun, Hua Binan probably borrowed it. Xu Shuanglin and Hua Binan messed up in Jincheng lake when they took it over. As defense mechanism against thieves, it destroyed the holy weapon armory saved for the box that contains jiangui. As far as I understand anyway, so I'm not sure if destroying the armory might actually be on purpose.

I'm willing to pay, but they don't have english official translation...

I'm with you there!!! The cover is fluffy and so is the summary. I thought it was literally about cats and dogs and since it was Xianxia, I got curious and never put it down since. Let's just say it changed my life and leave it at that...

It's a good thing for HYX IF aand only IF they did that on purpose. Y'know, part of subtle way of promoting the drama and they're actually ready to air soon. Like, the date is set and all and they're just firing up the hype even more.


But if it's an unintended leak and a lot of homophobes and haters that got nothing better to do are speeding hate sentiments on Weibo, then the airing date might get pushed back again, while tencent or HYX PR team are trying to put out the fire. So 50/50. Either it's coming REALLY SOON and drop the drama w/o warning or another delay.

Personally, I think really soon. We will know soon enough if CF and LY are the guest in Chuang 2021. And there's too much HYX ads and interviews lately that alludes to the drama.

Let's not lose hope. LY said in his yogurt ads that spring won't be late. Whatever that means. We still have May. And unlike Winner is King, they already changed the Douban date to 2022.

True, that trending leak yesterday in Weibo of CF feeding LY is actually a bad thing for HYX, a lot of haters is calling for another censorship review. A BL drama in China is SUPPOSED to be very very low key until the airing ends, look at WOH. They just dropped that drama out of nowhere w/o promoting the actors or endorsement beforehand (or at least nothing that stands out to me).

I think so too, lots of appearance and interviews and ads. Mentioning 2ha key phrases that CF compares himself to a dog and he likes wontons chili oil. LY mentioning that spring won't be late, also offhandedly saying on his Pond's interview that he learned to use the whip (2haist knows he's talking about Tianwen) and if it is confirmed that they'll be at Chuang 2021, then that will confirm HYX's imminent airing without a doubt.

Trending #3 now... They better start airing HYX because it's starting to attract the wrong kind of attention... Y'know the type of attention? The attention that the haters are calling for another censorship review...

HYX is number 4 trending today because of the 5 seconds leaked video of Chen Feiyu feeding Luo Yunxi w/ the same chopstick he's using yesterday!!!

Yes! Look at WOH, some people even say it's better than the novel. I've seen the review myself on Novelupdates. With how touchy and sweet WenZhou on screen, the audience expected they'll be even more on the novel, only to be their expectations to not be met. The novel is entirely different than the drama, but it's not a bad thing.

Just this first week of April, it's confirmed they cut scenes from some palace made, presumably because of cruelty. At least they didn't cut Taxian-jun's.

They're already promoting HYX on the sly. So very soon, I think??? This is just my speculation though. But there's so many HYX themed ads, interviews and public appearance that off handedly refers to the drama these past few days. Luo Yunxi even said on yogurt ads that spring won't be late. They're not allowed to blatantly advertise BL so no confirmed airing dates either. Let's just hope soon.

Yeah, I also saw an article of that. I hope censorship haven't ruined the plot.
