Besides, if you think about it. Chen Feiyu and Luo Yunxi is wearing their HYX costume and it's filmed on Nanping Mountain. HYX community is big, but not big enough for all of China to relate with the commercial if it's release before the drama. I mean, most people don't know RanWan and Nanping Mountain. Well, there's two possibilities for that amount of ads that are HYX esque themes. First, either the drama is coming really soon. Or second, they're are all pre-planned that's supposed to support and advertise HYX but something went wrong, postponement happened and they can't reschedule the pre-planned ads. (If it's 2nd option, then their planning and PR management really sucks. It's a waste of momentum if they're showing the drama after the hype cools down and people started forgetting the ads...)

I know it's not Tencent or HYX's staff's fault. But this kind of disappointment is not something I could just sleep off somewhere. I like Rong Jiu if only because he knows how to play with Chu Wanning's feelings and incite jealousy not even 10 minutes after meeting. He's a survivalist and very perceptive, he knows in just a few minutes Chu Wanning's feelings as well as Mo Ran's and tried to use it to his advantage. His role might not meant anything big on a grand scheme of things, but we will be missing out the jealous and petty Wanning, as well as a submissive puppy Mo Ran without him.

That news is already a few days old. The director, Leo Luo, Chen Feiyu and other staff are busy dropping subtle hints. Like Ran Tea, Mariah Carey song, bts leaks that get posted AND deleted. Chen Feiyu talking about his Mo Ran role in Esquire but not quite promoting it. Tencent poster of possible drama this April and promptly get deleted too because there's no HYX. Now the main lead actors are guests for Chiang 2021. They don't promote BL. Chinese censorship doesn't allow it. No advertisements or official airing date announcements. CQL, WOH and K&H all dropped episodes mere hours after the trailer. If HYX is really airing on 15. It's NORMAL that there's no trailer yet. It's only the first week of April. Don't lose hope yet.

When a BL trailer drops, you can be sure that the first episode is coming a few hours later. All BL need to be low key, no official announcement, no obvious promotion. That's why HYX staff seem be be hell-bent on leaving subtle hints like Leo Luo's and Arthur Chen's April Schedule. Or the co director's upload of Mariah Carey song and bts leaks, then delete it later...
