We don't know for sure that they downgraded because they are angry at Youku, although it sure looks like it. It's tempting to take your frustration out like this, it REALLY is, but this good drama is being held hostage by a bad company and it's a victim just like the viewers.
Started to read the novel. I get why Priest gets all her work turned into dramas, her writing is so cinematic and I love the part outside the club where she gets the point across that Fei Du is such a Chameleon.
I think Tencent will be frightened to air it now because of the high profile Luo Yun Xi is getting with TTEOTM. This is really tragic because now I want to see him in a bl even more...😭
