Oh jadi di drama ini yang bikin luzi sampai drop banget šbadan nya
Bukan salah dramanya. Tapi itu krn overwork/kerja berlebihan dgn jadwal super padat yg ditabung bertahun2 sampe jadi parah. Puncaknya pas syuting drama ini kondisi ZLS drop parah dan sampai hrs masuk RS.
ZLS hampir gak pernah ambil off syuting drama.
I've liked Vin Zhang in both costumes and modern dramas. Bai Jingting, however, is the other way around for me.…
True. I love BJT in New Life Begins + Destined. And he looked PERFECTLY FINE in those historical costumes + long hair/bun hairstyles. For modern drama, I personally love "Pingpong". BJT was awesome there.
I don't agree with you. I am sorry. Vin Zhang is still handsome in historical hairstyles. He even became the most handsome "Emperor Qin Shi Huang/Ying Zheng" when he played Ying Zheng (real life emperor of Qin Dynasty) in "The King's Woman".
Also what @geez said that he looks better in historical period costume dramas, including his hair + clothes. Not only clothes. "Costumes" is a short term of drama genre for "Period Costume Dramas". Not only "historical clothes"
However everyone taste/perspective is different. We saw binbin is still handsome in his long hair or other historical hairstyles. I hope we can accept our difference in views
IF the ML is handsome, then I bet there will be NO complaint about his toxic attitude + character in early episodes. But because the ML is not handsome enough to majority of audiences. Then all MDL users are saying trash about him.
For me, yes he is not typically handsome beautiful ML like the other dramas. But I enjoyed his performance in this drama. I expected worst scenarios while watching this drama bcs MDL users 95% said that this drama is a trash. BUT surprisingly, this drama is NOT bad. I enjoyed all the episodes with no skip or press ffd button on my phone. The pace is fast and there is no dull moment in all episodes. This is HAREM type drama so if it's your thing then you should check this out. And...DON'T READ THE COMMENTS. It was so biased just bcs they think that ML is not handsome.
Actually this is based on Yongle Emperor of Ming Dynasty (His birth name was Zhu Di). How he usurped the throne from his nephew was so famous in the history. So, there is no connection between this drama vs Grand Prince. Both of them are based on the true history because Korean also had their own history about brothers fighting about the throne. BUT there is no records about how they fell in love with the same woman. So that "fall in love trope" is a fiction that added to the story.
This is an outdated production. If you want to see Yongle emperor and his descendants history with good production in high budget, I will suggest you to watch big chinese drama "Ming Dynasty" instead. I watched it for 64 eps.
Yes people love different things. And maybe the setting and costumes also counts. Am watching because of Zheng…
Nothing is wrong with the costumes. Other dramas also had grand costumes in this year. Fangs of Fortune, The Double, Rise of the Ning, Are You The One, Kill Me Love Me, etc have great and grand costumes in the series.
the clothes alone in the drama was above anything Iāve seen.
No. The Rise of the Phoeniexes was NEVER listed in Netlix Original. There is NO WAY netflix original license can be expired. It was produced by chinese production 100% and then Netflix bought its license like how Netflix bought other Youku, Tencent, and iQiyi chinese dramas.
the clothes alone in the drama was above anything Iāve seen.
No, Netflix didn't sponsor Rise of The Phoniexes. Just because the show WAS in the Netflix, it doesn't mean Netflix sponsored them. Netflix just simply BOUGHT the license only and now it's already EXPIRED. You can watch it now in its original chinese distributor CROTON MEGA HIT.
Rise of the phoeniexes WAS NOT Netflix original show. It was produced by chinese entertainment company like the other chinese dramas production.
Stop guessing about things if you are not sure about it. Netflix just BOUGHT the license (expired now) and NEVER interfere with any chinese productions. China won't allow foreign platform like Netflix put its hands in their productions especially period costume drama. Netflix ONLY CAN buy the dramas licenses then it's done. Chinese production is DIFFERENT with korean production when Netflix can invest money in korean dramas.
I answered you questions about the satisfying ending below : desert scroll - ruo wen - Ge xin wei - quicksand..
But I think that the one who got into quick sand is his bodyguard right? There is a flashback when Huang Beishuang asked the bodyguard to use the mask to disguise as Huo Qing Yun.
Who said that? They did let their hair down in the dramas. It's not always a full bun. In some historical dramas,…
Then you should watch Ten Miles of Peach Blossom. Ye Hua (Mark Chao) sometimes let his hair down without bun or anything. Only his black long hair.
Or you should watch The Rise of Phoenixes, 6th prince, Ning Yi (Chen Kun) sometimes also let his hair down without bun or anything.
Ah, you also should check The Pearl Eclipse when the young emperor character (it was played by Xu Kai Cheng) often let his hair down without anything in his own private quarter.
a genuine question, why do they never let their hair down in historical cdramas? its always up in a bun or half…
Who said that? They did let their hair down in the dramas. It's not always a full bun. In some historical dramas, both men and women also let their hair down but with ornaments/hairpin for women and half bun + half long hair down for men. Some men also use long ponytail in their style. You will see bunch of them letting their hair down in xianxia and wuxia dramas. Long silky black hair with flowing robes.
You should watch MORE chinese dramas then you will know what i said.

And Bad Ending/Sad ending/Open ending is a trend nowadays in 2024 period costume chinese dramas š¤£š¤£š¤£

"Fox Spirit Matchmaker : Red Moon Pact" also has S-tier and A-tier actors and actresses in one drama.
Helian Xi called his daughter "Xiao Shiliu" = Little Pomegranate.
Or you should watch The Rise of Phoenixes, 6th prince, Ning Yi (Chen Kun) sometimes also let his hair down without bun or anything.

That's why i suggested you to watch more dramas.
