I tried to read through the comments, but does anyone know when this will be airing? I just finished The Story of Kunning Palace (phenomenal) and thought ZLH did a fantastic job in his role. His paring with Bai Lu was perfect.

I so agree! I just started watching this after A LOT of hesitation. OMG. This story is what I've been wanting to watch. It's full of intrigue and interesting characters. I tend to find myself FF through subplots, but not here. This is a very high 10 for me so far.

Same. I kept hearing the Tanya Tucker song while watching this..."If It Don't Come Easy." I know many people are CRAZY about this series, but it's just not everyone's cup of tea.

I know, right???!!! I keep reading conflicting dates for the air date. I want to see this tomorrow, but also don't won't it rushed.

If anything, I think this series has affected LYN's popularity in a positive way. Since the release of the Wrap Video (which he looked genuinely happy in), those who didn't believe he was a good fit for this role, had a change of heart.

Also, I saw a post on X from October where fans were asking him to leave TLOJ. He said he couldn't agree and begged them to give him a different wish. LYN is a grown man who knows what he's doing. I'm certain he saw this for what it was at the time, a great opportunity. Again, his smiles and tears at the Wrap Party tells me everything I need to know.

My only WISH is that he can stay healthy and balance musician/actor so his fans can still listen to him on their 1 hour commute to work each day (oh, that would be me).

OMG…these two are so fun to watch. I was watching them at 3 am because I miss them so much. 😍

I have two regrets regarding this series:
1. I didn’t start watching this earlier
2. I didn’t start watching this on a Friday so I can binge watch it.

I’ve been waiting so long for a series to pull me in and not let go. So far, this one is it. The rating should be much higher.

Someone posted a side by side photo of Lusi and another model wearing it on X. Lusi did look best in it, IMO. Perhaps this is what she had to run with, and she did it with grace and poise.

After a clip of them in TLB came up on my YouTube feed a few years ago, I started watching the series, but only them...no shade to the leads, of course. I've been dreaming of this pairing for a long time. I just love Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning's chemistry.

I'm not sure I'm crazy about Lusi's look today/yesterday, but I do applaud her and her courage to show us a different appearance, which may or may not be, outside her comfort zone. I'm way out of my twenties so I envy her grit to walk a different line than what others believe she should walk, to break free of the package others believe she should remain in.

I must say, I'm hugely disappointed in the criticism out of Macao. Whenever she chooses to show a different, not always popular side to her, netizens pounce, resorting to calling her "fat" and "ugly". How cowardly, insecure and childish must one be to say this behind a computer screen? Seriously, if I woke up tomorrow as "fat" and "ugly" as her, I'd be dangerous.
