OMG!! LOL. I thought the same thing when watching that scene!! I actually dropped the series after this. Having a deadpan or wooden actress/actor can absolutely ruin a series.

I really didn't think it was bad, especially compared to Allen Ren-type kissing scenes. In Under the Power, he even used a lip double...that was way weird. I respect and understand his reasoning, however. For me, if the actors lips actually touch, I'm okay with everything else. That being said...I do prefer Luo Zheng-type kissing scenes.

Fang Leng's voice is exactly like (and probably is) Ye Hua's in Eternal Love.

I'm highly enjoying this, and I was hesitant to watch it because I enjoyed S1 so much. I thought the chemistry between the leads couldn't be surpassed from S1, however, they are so in tune with one another in S2. So much more fun to watch. More kissing, too!!

First, I loved the first season, and I just couldn't imagine how they were going to make a Season 2. They did, and it hasn't disappointed.

What I love about S2, more than S1 is the chemistry between the leads. I didn't think it could have improved, but the leads seem so much more in sync and comfortable with each other in this one. (I think I've re-watched the cosmetic photo shoot ten times). Bei smiles more, and that is awesome to watch. There are more kisses, though they aren't Maids Revenge level kissing...what is, actually

I'll admit Xing Fei hasn't been one of my favorite Chinese Actresses, but after her role in this series, and especially the scene where she believes the 9th Prince dies, my admiration for her skyrocketed. Her performance in that one scene was unique and heartfelt and heartbreaking. Despite the lower ratings for CGI, low budget, and camera work, the actors did a great job.

This reminded me a lot of Fall In Love. Less slap/kiss though. Very smart FL. Evan Lin plays a great SML.

Same. I'm too much of a visual person, and I can't unsee that car scene, no matter how the writers want to explain it through Pam's eyes.

Wow!! That's a great and enlightening point. It's sad when both leads lose the audience's confidence in them.

I was so looking forward to seeing Luke in something of substance that isn't this polarizing. The character development for Dino tumbled so fast downhill, that it became nauseating to watch. So...I had to join the dropped camp, too. I'm still going to read through the comments though...the debate on cheating vs not cheating has become a Lakorn itself.

Character Assassination…great description of what happened here. That scene was so unnecessary or could have been done (adamant resistance on Dino’s part FFS) in a way to show depth instead of destruction.

Have you seen Bad Romeo?

The best live posting I ever experienced on MDL was during Bad Romeo. It was so friendly, respectful, and fun. Here…not so much. Still, I’ll continue to stay here with mild trepidation.

He acted the same way in Oh My Boss, so I think they are just marketing Luke’s sex appeal. The problem with this is he runs the risk of becoming a stereotype. Hopefully his next roll doesn’t involve “making out” with the other characters as much. We shall see.
