why don't you like DFQC in the novel? What happened?
No there’s part in the novel where the people in Moon Tribe also opposes Dong Fang Qing Cang because he is so obsessed to fight again with Chi Di to prove he is the most powerful and he also thinks Chi Di cheated so he lose the battle before. In the novel, he’s not also doesn’t care much about his people. When he found Xiao Lan Hua dead, he gets mad and regret it. Chi give DFQC a part of her spirit/breath that may help resurrect XLH. With the help of Siming, they resurrect XLH.
I’m interested here because I saw some clips and pics Shuxin doing sword training and martial art stuffs in the wire. So I’m curious if she’s not afraid of heights anymore hahahaha. It’s also one of the reason I think why Shuxin doesn’t join dramas aside from dubbing for the past eight months because she’s training I think. Some of her career mom fans branded her as lazy due to being inactive in drama filming before the animated movie dubbing, special surprise dance to fans and announcement of Sword and Fairy 6 come out.
Also aside from the drama there is Donghua (Anime) and also Manhua (Manga). I just can’t find english translation of man Hua, but the drawings are also beautiful.

Because he’s a jerk there, he have so many attempts to kill XLH and always lie to her. But he regrets it in the end when she reincarnates. He promise he won’t sacrifice her again. He makes up for his regret at the end but still for me, not the best male lead in the cnovel world. I really love him in the drama though.

When it comes to funny things, I prefer novel.
But overall, I prefer the drama version than novel because I love DFQC here because they give him a background and setting. In the novel, he only realize he loves XLH when she dies wherein this drama I think he fall in love first (that’s what I assume).
The reason before watching this is I’m just going to support Xiao Lan Hua and Shuxin and Guo Xiaoting. I just really expect it to be a routine Xianxia with comedy. Three lifetimes story but didn’t expect it to be so different. I also love Xianxia too. Anything with magic drama, it’s okay for me.
I hate DFQC in the novel and I pity and cries a lot for Xiao Lan Hua in the novel. I still feel that the novel gives more highlight to XLH in the novel than in the drama but it’s still okay. The drama’s plot doesn’t collapse as of episode 30 so still very happy. I LOVE THE SCREENWRITERS.
Also in the novel, it’s Happy Ending okay. But I still don’t think DFQC in novel deserves XLH. There’s no 2ML also in novel. In the novel, XLH ADORES HER MASTER SIMING SO MUCH. They doesn’t show it much here in the drama.

Actually Shuxin is also like these with other male leads and other girls. She have a lot of cp, may it be a girl or Boy. I also believe Dylan Wang too. Some says because they’re both Sagittarius hahaha.
Same sentiments, because I think the first instinct of DFQC is to kill, and Chi Di is not the person who will begs, and will just also fight to death when they met. If they met, they should be somehow like childhood friends so there’s a reason DFQC won’t kill Chi Di. XLH is the type who will make excuses not to be killed and will do things out of norm that DFQC may found interesting. So I agree with yin Yang.

I personally prefer the drama version over novel version because in the drama, I like DFQC here while in the novel, I hate him hahahaha. But there’s so many funny moments also in novel. Orchid suffers more in the novel, so there’s more angst there.

Yes they recently started filming on August. Shuxin and Xukai is in Chinese Paladin 6 under Tencent. Chinese Paladin 5 I think will be under IQIYI. Ju Jingyi in Chinese Paladin 4. These all are adaptations from a game. You don’t need to watch 1,2,3 because they really have different stories / plot lines.
