It's the way I don't even find Zhuang Xu scenes annoying because he's not even a contender. Rather I'm enjoying watching him wallow in sadness after how he treated Nie Xinguang. I find his coworkers meh, but I enjoy the karma he's getting more.
I really like this Changbai Mountain Skiing arc because the location is beautiful and it brings the cozy winter cdrama to life. I love both Yusen and Xinguang's families because their screen time is very enjoyable and doesn't feel like a waste of time. Their family dynamics are so sweet and I like seeing the progress of their worlds slowly colliding from each other, to friends, to families.
I feel like the family aspect is done in a very realistic way especially with how much Jiang Rui and Nie Xinguang are involved in each other’s lives even when they're apart like frequently calling and texting as siblings do (I know they're technically cousins but come on that's her brother). It's just very well fleshed out and it should be because there are 36 eps.
I also really like how when we don't get as much of Yusen and Xinguang together they're always still thinking about each other and texting, so the absence doesn't feel super long or boring.

I feel like if I never considered someone as a potential romantic interest at all, I'd want to get to know them and give them equal chance to see if it's plausible. And I'd hope someone would do the same for me, if that makes sense.

I can empathize with his background as a person and also be of the belief that in no way should that reflect his treatment of the women in his life. Like he literally treats Xinguang as if she's a scum on earth to him for essentially no reason other than the fact that he's insecure.
He'll probably heal and fall in love with someone who's not Ye Rong since there's 36 eps, but no woman deserves to go through all that right now.
This show is so enjoyable, I actually haven't felt this much joy watching a cdrama since the first frost. The fact that only two episodes a day are coming out is eating me alive.
I love that at the end of the latest episode she does act like the rich girl that she is. And she actually does so quite frequently when she's with the ML, because she's comfortable to humorously brag about her looks, to flirt, and to talk about money unlike with SML.
But my favorite moment was when she straight up tells SFL that the company she works for, her family owns 49% of the shares and that her family has close ties with the Sheng group (while she's also dating the grandson) so if she has any issues at her work place she can help her out, effectively shutting her up and putting her in her place.
I just love a rich FL that can actually stand up for herself instead of being shamed for being rich??? because for some reason they're frequently written that way. Many other shows don't write Rich FLs to just be people with money, instead they're written as either spoiled with an attitude problem or they hate the fact that they're rich and it's a conflict.

Idk I feel like he's lowkey silly too so they're a good match. To me, even though the FL is high maintenance and cares more about her reputation, she's still very smart (just maybe doesn't use her intelligence to benefit others as much as most FLs). The ML even though he's morally upright and intimidating due to his job and position, it's a little silly that he is still so wrapped up in this girl's marriage prospects even if it's for the greater good (lets be honest he doesn't need to be so bothered by her possible suitors before he even proposes marriage to her and her family)
