The storyline is a piece of shit! Why did they keep producing a drama like this? Find a book that has a good storyline…
The original novel is actually a good one. So it's really a pity that they executed this story poorly.
This drama is a flop and it got many negative critics. From high budget but low production quality, the wooden acting from both main leads, the bland stories, the poor execution, the poor CGI, and etc.
Can someone explain to me why there are 3 different Fox Spirit dramas all seemingly released in 2023? (BTW, I'm…
It's like a trilogy. They are different characters + stories. But it set in the same universe. It's similar like Novoland franchise and Mirror A Tale of Twin Cities + The Longest Promise. However, it's still a stand alone production.
So you will not miss anything if you dont want to watch the first franchise (Yue Hong). Yang Mi will only play in the first one. The 2nd and 3rd franchise got different actors n actresses.
It's not two seasons but one season in two parts...
No. They already finished the filming. There is no changes at script or whatsoever.
It's just the netflix who decided to break them into two parts. It's not what you called mini break. They are trying to keep the subscribers with this cunning method. They did this before to Money Heist.
I am sorry but foreigners also have important role in creating the trending of kdramas. Many international platforms…
Your argument is soooo stupid. I dont care and I never talk about ratings. I just said korean producers also got money from international OTT platforms who paid money for broadcasting licenses. You THINK those kdrama licenses are FREE? What a fool.
Plus you are so wrong. Dont ever make kdrama watchers in the same side with kpop fandoms. International audiences always want PROPER ACTORS and ACTRESSES to ACT IN PROPER PRODUCTIONS. Not only idols acted in the web drama.
From that statement, i know you know nothing about kdramaland as overall. You only care about tv ratings and neglected all the other factors.
Yes rating is also important for korean producers. But in the other sides, they also see the trend of kdramas for international audiences. If they dont care, then there is no korean NETFLIX original or korean DISNEY original. But in fact, WE HAVE SO MANY OF THEM RIGHT NOW. Oh dont forget about VIU originals and iQiyi originals too. Amazon prime will get their korean original series as well.
Btw are you also a foreign watcher? Then just shut up and watch your fave shows. You are also a part of international audiences.
You think HALLYU WAVES only happened because of korean netizens? IT IS ALSO BECAUSE OF THE HYPE OF INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCES. If you dont believe, you can ask the producers of My Love From the stars, Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, etc. Or you can ask Kim Soo Hyun, Hyunbin, Lee Min Ho, Song Joong Ki, etc. Ask them why they can achieve international success?
In conclusion, korean producers care for both local and international viewers. They handled it well so far. That's why kdramas can achieve the success globally today.

Imo, here, it is more a matter of wrong expectations than bad writing as the had been consistent in its themes…
Adamas, Big Mouth, 2521, Insider, Grid, and others. Those dramas really disappointed me especially when I was watching them on going without knowing the ending would be like that. One Dollar Lawyer also got rushed n unsatisfying "happy ending".
Plus other kdramas pissed me off with their toxic love triangle and slower pace with unnecessary fillers in the second half like Love in Contract, Cheer Up, or boring Love is for Suckers.
This is the reason why I stop watch kdramas on going and i will decide it through the comments later.
Reborn Rich and Weak Hero No 1 got many positive comments. I will definitely check them out.
Do you watch Revenge of Others and Curtain Call? There is both positive n negative reviews. I still hasnt decided about them yet.

So, the ML turned out to be a villain in this drama? His dark side is finally revealed. Yes it's a good twist but also it can pissed many ppl off.
For me, the twist is leading us to non-fixed ending. It can be a bad one, it can be an open ending one, it can be a "forced" happy ending one and like other unsatisfying kdramas ending in 2022. Coz it happened too many times. So many disappointing kdramas this year.
Well, I liked the second half better. I only see complain about (good) plot twist and less comedy, so no valid…
Please gimme the update how this drama ends. Let me be honest, the negative comments turned me off already. I havent seen this drama yet. If the twist is leading us to bad ending, then i will skip this one.

I only read comments. I havent even watched this drama yet. But the negative comments of the twist turned me off already. If it affects the ending to become a bad one then yeah i will skip this one. One bad ending basically can ruin the entire drama.
And yes. This is indeed Light On series. After iQiyi logo is showing, the "Light On" mark appears after that.
This drama is a flop and it got many negative critics. From high budget but low production quality, the wooden acting from both main leads, the bland stories, the poor execution, the poor CGI, and etc.
Is there a light on mark in the opening sequence?

Yu Shu Xin? What a good pairing 😍

Great first half
Broken second half
I always read more negative comments when the drama reached the second half.
Yep. It's a pity because some mango dramas are actually good. But it got lower ratings just because of the bad eng subtitles
