Wasn’t that his voice? I read that some where. They also used the real voice of the female lead in Love Between…
Haha I am glad that you liked it. I also like to help ppl understand why cdramas still use dubbing for some particular (read : heavy accent) chinese actors 😂
But these days, many chinese actors and actresses already used their own voice for dramas. So, we should see other improvements from that some "particular" actors.

Mandarin got different tones for words. That's why mandarin is hard.
I will give you simple example. (Ma) in mandarin can be mom, horse, scolding, and many more. Here i give you full explanation.
mā 妈 (mom) má 麻 (hemp) mǎ 马 (horse) mà 骂 (scold) ma 吗 (question particle) (neutral tone)
See the tones. Ma alone got five meanings. But the tones when we say "Ma" is different depends on the meaning.
When we say horse, then we say "Ma" for third tone. For example "I want to ride horse"
我要骑马 Wǒ yào qí mǎ
Third tone for "Ma". The pronouciation is falling rising, start at a neutral tone then dip to a lower pitch before ending at a higher pitch
But when we say "why are you scolding me?". Scold is Ma for forth tone. So the sentence is....
你为什么骂我 ? Nǐ wèi shé me mà wǒ ?
Forth tone for "Ma". The pronounciation is like falling. Start the syllable at a slightly higher than neutral pitch then go quickly and strongly downwards.
First tone and second tone got another pronouciations. That is the way chinese people can differentiate words. The tones.
With thick accent like sichuan accent or cantonese accent. This tones become more blur. The local accent affected the way they speak the tones. The southern dialect like cantonese etc even pronouce zh sh ch become all z s c unlike standard mandarin that distinguised the way we speak zh sh ch vs z s c. We still can understand what they are saying but sometimes, for some words, it's hard to understand with strong local accent.
So chinese people from different regions in China will have a hard time to understand the dialogues if the "standard mandarin" dubbing is not used for heavy accent actors. It's also the main reason why you see mandarin subtitle in chinese dramas.
Plus in historical setting or ancient fantasy setting, they need to speak perfect mandarin without local accent traces. But actors in china who speak mandarin in their whole life should be able to manage this accent thing. Yes it needs more works and improvement to clean accent. But they should be able to do it because mandarin is their first language.
Wasn’t that his voice? I read that some where. They also used the real voice of the female lead in Love Between…
If he doesn't manage to "clean" his strong sichuan accent, then the productions will not allow him to use his own voice especially in period costume drama.
Except.....he play a character in modern drama that came from Sichuan province or the drama that set in big city Chengdu from Sichuan Province.
Xu Kai also got cantonese dialect + line deliveries problem. But he can improve it step by step so he can use his own voice in She & Her Perfect Husband. Maybe modern drama is a good step to test the water. But for period costume drama, he still has a long way to go.
Pratice makes perfect. I also understand how difficult the perfect mandarin is. I am chinese so I learned mandarin since I was young. But I was born in another country. So I need more extra work to master it. But I know, as a native speaker, the chinese actors can improve themselves easier than me. However mandarin is still their first language.

No, there is another "main" reason. Dylan Wang got heavy sichuan accent in his mandarin. That's the reason why he is always dubbed.
The actors need to speak perfect mandarin accent (national standard) especially in period costume or historical drama. So, if Dylan wanna use his own voice, he needs to improve his "standard accent" of mandarin + clean his strong sichuan accent + improve his line deliveries.
However, dubbing cant be justified forever in Chinese drama-land. Some ppl even looked down on cdramas because of dubbing issue!
Remember. Voice is a part of acting. You can't expect the actor to be muted forever. That's why i still prefer they use the actors real recording voice ON SET like korean drama did. They need to improve themselves with their emotions + line deliveries. Mandarin national accent is not that difficult if you are a native speaker already!
Some actors may not try their best in improving their "perfect accent" of standard mandarin. Because they trapped in comfort zone. They wilk think it's okay to not put much emotion in dialogues because the voice actors will dub it anyway.
In conclusion, voice is a part of performance. Emotions, line deliveries, the way they speak the dialogues, their own color of voices. It will give cdramas more fresh air to breathe. Plus, practice makes perfect. It will also boost the actors n actresses acting skill to the new level.
I wished he was a real one. It would have added more drama
Oh yeah you can watch that trope in "Serenade of Peaceful & Joy". Princess Fukang (Emperor Renzong's daughter) fell in love with handsome young eunuch Liang Huaiji. It was based on real controversial historical event in Song Dynasty.
I hope Lee Joon Gi will also find his soulmate soon.
So, dont worry, he still has his own balls. Full and complete.

Lol sorry for long message.
You can tell from her interview. CYQ voice is deep for female voice. Like Zhou Xun. It's so different with her voice on screen.

I still prefer to choose homcha, my liberation notes, and our blues for slice of life genre.
Listen to above statement hey blindly fans lol
It's not like 1080p quality but 480p quality.
Usually Youku video quality is good. No problem. But this drama resolution is a bit low if we compared it to other Youku dramas
"Jung Ji So character also like Ha Ji Won character"
Why she mentioned Jung Ji So when someone asked about ppl who had romance.
So i didnt ask for silly question. Someone above me who typed silly statement first
