WWSK is a very enjoyable romance comedy. Its a perfect example of how you executed a great romance comedy even though the plot is nothing new. Boss and Secretary love stories are everywhere, but WWSK can make that classic story become soooo interesting, enjoyable, and we were so happy with their romance stories and lovable chemistry. Even the ending is the most perfect wedding in kdramas history.
Nowadays, kdramas hardly produced high quality romcom like WWSK. Business Proposal is a good try but it still cant beat WWSK as the example of perfect romcom, even though many similar style n images from Business Proposal follow WWSK elements.
Until today, the best Park Min Young romcom is still WWSK.

For grammar, why you dont reply to all people here? I saw so many broken english in MDL. It is definitely worse than me. My english is still considerably fine.
But people usually wont bother about it too much, as long as we can understand each other. I have MDL friends from europe and USA and they never correct my grammar or spelling mistake. Sometimes, the grammar nazi left a sour impression.

I love both of the series. So i wont complain about them. Its different genre actually. Secretary Kim is a cliche romcom between boss n secretary. Like wattpad stories. But its very enjoyable. Their chemistry is so great. Their kissing scenes are another level in kdramas history. Its a romance galore type of story.
Fight My Way, like u said, its more about a friendship and slice of life story with romance as the side dish. Its more realistic and connect with many people. Their chemistry is also wonderful as a friend and as a lover.
So both of them got different market and genre. For me, they are PSJ masterpieces. Besides Itaewon Class ofc.

For me, Jegal n Ga Eul are not suitable as a couple because they are not matching as lovers. There is no chemistry between them. They are okay as mentor n athlete. But not as couple. And one of the main reason was because of the age gap besides the inconsistency of writing.

I want to be honest. If they casted someone younger and more handsome, usually ppl will see this drama as a "potentially romance" besides sport genre. With or without romance tag in this page. I have seen it in some non romance dramas.
Some ppl will start to ask : - Any romance yet? - is there a romance? - how about the romance? - is there a love triangle? - there is kiss scenes?
Example? Memorist. Its pure detective n thriller drama. But Yoo Seung Ho and Lee Se Young chemistry made some viewers were wondering if they can see the romance part in that drama.
May It Please The Court. Some ppl in the ending said they would be okay if the leads are going to be a couple even though its not a romance drama.
Bad Prosecutor. Some ppl even hope for slight romance for next episodes. But its not romance drama and the leads are more busy to take down the corrupt prosecutor right now.
And etc....
Slight romance would not ruin the drama if the leads are suitable and they got chemistry between each other as a couple.

Its because they didnt suit each other. Age gap is very obvious. If they choose someone younger than Jung Woo, many ppl will see something different and change their mind immediately. Romance part would be more fit.
It means Jung Woo and FL chemistry is more matching as mentor and athlete only. No more. So the romance cant kick in because the casts didnt suit each other as romance couple. Thats the problem.
