Overall not too bad, but the villain arc felt forced and how/when did she suddenly have amnesia and wasn't in jail anymore? That felt very weird. I wouldn't watch it again, but on the other hand, I'm glad I did watch it as it had some great moments...tbh, most of those were in the first few episodes though.
OMG! I’m so happy I came back to read the comments, if not, I wouldn’t have known there was such an important…
oooh, I just came back to rate it and didn't realize there was a bonus scene, I'm going to finish the credits and watch it. Thanks! Edit: omg perfect ending scene!!
I was ugly crying during those scenes the acting performance of both Joseph and Bai Lu were really so gutwrenching…
For real! I always cry during a Bai Lu series, but omg that one episode I thankfully watched at 2x speed or else I would have been crying for 45 minutes solid! Their eyes emoted so much, I was half way hysterical 😭
Yu En Tai did a fantastic job playing the scummiest father I've seen in a loooooong time in a cdrama. He tops them all in ruthlessness, manipulation, slyness and oh he makes you loath him from the deepest part of your soul! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves cause that's a hard character to play, looking soft and weak but under it all so conniving and evil!

Fancy running into you here Heather.........all of us seeking refuge after dramacool evaporated!! :D
too true! I have soooo much to say sometimes and nowhere to say it! There are these comment spots here, but when a drama is popular there is a ton of people talking and the comments get shuffled down the page quickly and disappear into the ether. Only able to have comments stick around if the drama isn't popular or if it aired a long time ago.

agreed! It has a great selection of asian videos, but zero community and just feels very sterile compared to dramacool. I have a huge list of dramas I want to watch but the feel of the website puts me off spending too much time on it.

FR! I try to watch stuff on Kisskh, but they don't have a comment section so it just isn't the same as the community on dramacool 😭 I do watch a bunch of stuff on youtube though. :)
I think this is the first Korean drama with a FL that I've seen who has freckles and doesn't obliterate them with heavy makeup. It was a refreshing change. About the drama itself 10/10, bawled almost nonstop but thankfully it's only 6 episodes with 45 minutes per each, so I binged it in one evening by watching it at 2x speed.
Not really! As far as I recall, it was the mother-in-law who asked the third son-in-law to do it and help him…
I agree, I felt like they lost the thread of family there, they treated him so well and really welcomed him into the family...and he was trying hard, even if he'd been scammed he would have picked himself back up again, but they literally all ganged up on him and drove him away and that seemed very uncharacteristic.
36 episodes of pure gold. I laughed and cried almost every single episode. I would give this a 10/10 except I knocked .5 off for the last few episodes, felt they wandered off plot a little bit there. Other than that, a really solid drama that made me want to start all over again before I was even half way through, I just loved it that much!
Edit: omg perfect ending scene!!
