what were the big dramas at the time?
Yeah, I'm struggling on MM, I got all the way up to ep 29, so I'm gonna try and finish it eventually but the chemistry was lacking between the leads for me and the story was pretty predictable so far. If you like Xianxia, I highly recommend Till The End of The Moon, Back From The Brink, Who Rules The World, Love Between Fairy and Devil, Legend of Shen Li, Love and Destiny ---honestly I could go on and on, lol. Xianxia is my favorite genre with historicals a very close second.

I forgot to add: Destined (2023) I really liked that one too and had multiple rewatches, the ML is a bit of a jerk at first but doesn't take long to start on the right path.

what were the big dramas at the time?
Some of my favorite historical cdramas: A Dream of Splendor (A+), Are You The One, Blossom, Blossoms in Adversity, Dreaming Back To The Qing Dynasty, General's Lady, Legend Of The Dragon Pearl, Love Like The Galaxy , Princess Silver, Scent of Time, Song of Youth, The Imperial Coroner, The Imperial Doctoress, The Story of Minglan(A+). I tried to stay strictly historical and leave out Xiania my other favorite genre, the ones that have an A+ are pretty long ones but super worth it in my opinion. The Story of Minglan, I have watched at least 5 times despite it being 78 episodes and I'm totally wanting to watch it again!!

what were the big dramas at the time?
That's the best! When I first started watching K and C dramas, I ended up with a HUGE list of ones that were recommended, but it only took me a few years to burn through it all and now I have to watch them as they come out...lol. I wish I could start all over without knowing the plot lines.

Hard to remember, but I know a few that were pretty big in 2023: Lost You Forever, Wonderland of Love, Love You Seven Times, Mysterious Lotus Casebook, Back From The Brink, Love Me Love My Voice, Hidden Love

I finished up to episode 13 and I'm loving the storyline of the arrogant scholar and how the tables have turned for him. I'm enjoying him having to work to earn his place as her husband.

I think the filming was already finished. Sorry for my bad english
hmm, I wonder what they'll decide to do then. I heard it was on hold because of her DWI back in 2022.

😭😭😭 I will be upset, but at least I have a warning before I start.

Other than the fact that the finale spent way too much on the villains ending and not enough on cute stuff with the leads, I really enjoyed the series. I watched it all in one day!

Yes. A few years ago they made the limit 40 episodes per season and there must be a certain amount of months in between seasons, because when they first did the 40 ep season, they just waited a week and then did season 2 and China didn't like them finding loopholes, so they made us wait 6 months or possible 12, I can't remember the specifics.

Absolutely horrible. I've been watching her since her earlier dramas and I always had some inkling that something…
Yes, the last 2 or 3 dramas I've seen of hers you could see the drastic weightloss. Some of it could be because there's a lot of cultural pressure to be thin, but this went well beyond the norms and it was clear for a while now that she's way too thin for her own health and sanity. I hope she gets the help and healthcare that she needs to go back to that shining girl she used to be.

Ngl, I didn't see it, but fun fact~ He actually played the young version of his character in LGIEF!
I wrote this comment before that show came out, but I guess me and the casting director agreed that there was some resemblance! 😂
