I almost dropped it too, the first 4 episodes were like...sigh...this again? In my opinion it doesn't really have…
For sure! and thankfully there was one character that got introduced around ep 10 or 12 and I was like noooo not this cliche tropey type of character and 2 episodes later she flipped the script and I think she's actually an interesting character after all :D I'm still enjoying it and just waiting for more english subs so I can finish it.
I just finished episode 6 and based on what everyone else is saying I think that's as far as I want to go
By the end of episode 6 the leads are together, they're happy, the hotel is doing well, the radio show looks to be doing good....why ruin things by watching this drama any further?

So far I think of the series as one that I'd watch if I had nothing better to binge. Its not horrible, its not amazing...its watchable. and surprisingly by this point I'm actually starting to sort of get into it.
I am only in my second episode and I am totally bored..... Same characters just different script!
I almost dropped it too, the first 4 episodes were like...sigh...this again? In my opinion it doesn't really have much different to offer than a million other overbearing ceo type falls for a woman who he manipulates into working for him trope and the characters aren't that interesting until the 5th or maybe even 6th episode.
How is him being married affecting the story.? I stopped because Of that. Has it caused problems does he sleep…
You should absolutely keep giving it a chance come back and binge the episodes since the forced marriage part, things change but it doesn't really interfere in the ML and FL's LTR in my opinion. The wife is more like a teacher and friend to both of them. So much more happens in the show, totally worth it to catch up!
10/10 highly recommend. No review I write could do justice to this gem. I am not normally a suspense thriller watcher, but I do tend to give them a try from time to time and this one blew me out of the water. loved loved loved it. Never was there a moment where I was bored, never was there a time that I felt it dragged, there was never a moment that I was 100% sure what was going to happen next despite having some guesses that were wrong and some that were right, I still wasn't prepared. I literally heard about this today, figured I'd give it one episode to catch my attention and then if I didn't like it I'd move on...but I didn't even need a full episode to be sucked in, its just that dang good. I binged it all in one day. Give it a go, you won't regret it.
This show has been a lot better than I thought it would be. I hesitated cause the first episode didn't hook me but by the end of the second episode I wanted to know more and was having the time of my life watching the story unfold. I expect to finish it either later today or tomorrow if time and energy permit, but I recommend it. This drama has been mentioned and recommended to me multiple times and I always gave it a pass cause the story felt overdone and the ML isn't the typical type, but you know what...its a good story told in an interesting way and he really grows on you. A few hiccups in the first few episodes but once you get past that you're dragged deep into the story wondering what's going to freaking happen next, laughing your ass off one minute and then omg end of the world the next and then somehow you still can find good comedy in the bad guys stuff. Nothing feels draggy, it just keeps flowing along, at least so far for me...I'm up to episode 25 out of 36
I like that this drama has a good balance, super serious is very nicely balanced out with outrageous comedy and then it swings to slice of life and sweet beginnings of romance plus hope...it just seems to have a little bit of everything, even that evil eldest brother serves some purpose for the plot, even if I can't stand him. Also ridiculously overly easy to get drunk Prince Zheng moments are one of the funniest things I've seen in a cdrama in a long while.
The reviews suggest its all a dream...I had the same question at the end of episode 2 btw
I ended up dropping it and moved onto a different drama: Mr. Bad . Its such a sugary fluff romance after the first 2-3 episodes, so much that I have to tell everyone to give it a chance if they're looking for romance drama without a love triangle, so far no hospital visit, no toxic second female lead...its just been a pretty sweet drama. not too deep and only 24 episodes.
They will, but they may reshoot his scenes with different actor. But the may keep his scenes, nothing was comfirmed.
That's understandable. We don't know how far into the series they shot it or if they had just started filming because a lot of their dramas didn't use to be completed before they began airing. Its been changing lately but not all of them are done in preproduction.

I have episode 6 bookmarked just incase I change my mind and keep going, but from what I understand it takes a while to go through the dream part before she wakes up...I think we would have to get quite invested in the dream timeline before we get the heartbreak of the waking up part,
