The MC breaks up and sends a lot of time apart. To be fair, there’s a lot growing that happens in that time but I think the MC is just so sweet and fun together that having them separated it hard to watch.

1) The ex gets fired from his job in Ep1 by Yu Hao. Later on, the ex messes with KeLan again but she outsmarts him. That's the end of the ex.
2) They get together in Ep9

Also, if you decide to stick with this, there's a short bonus episode that is pretty cute.

Lol I agree. It’s messy but enjoyable. The main couple is the primary focus. Lots of screen time but they are both idiots about love so be a little prepared to get frustrated with them here and there. Honestly, its so bad yet so good. If you are looking for a light drama and you’re okay with evil exs and some messiness then check this out.
