I have tried the diamond-shaped rack as well before, honestly doesn’t work well for me (skill issue maybe lol). I’m 90% sure that even professional tournaments and players rack it with triangle-shaped rack, no one uses the diamond-shaped rack.
Edit: Just did a search, my bad, of coz magic rack is more commonly used in professional competitive settings than the physical triangle-shaped rack.
I find it strange that they don't ever use a diamond-shaped 9-ball rack. I understand it is common to use a triangular…
There’s a reason for it, triangle rack allows for extra space in the back so you can push the balls from the back to make it more tightly packed, but diamond-shaped rack has no extra space to push and it’s difficult to lift it without disturbing the balls, which might cause it to be less tight and have little gaps.
MDL has measures in place to combat fake ratings like 1s or 10s and for those whose accounts are new / only activity…
Yes i understood that, the point I’m trying to make is those reviews means nothing since those 10s or 1s won’t affect the overall rating of the show (if they are flagged/filtered by MDL system), but the problem is people like you, who gave it a score even without watching, and u will affect the overall score since you are considered an legit user. I’m not saying it’s not odd and those people are right, in fact, I think they are problematic, but at least MDL can filter them possibly. But there are no measures for clown users like you, who undermines the reliability of the ratings by giving ratings without even consuming the actual content itself.
MDL has measures in place to combat fake ratings like 1s or 10s and for those whose accounts are new / only activity…
Looks like u didn’t understand what I was saying, when did I ever said MDL has an army of bot accounts to write scripted reviews? I’m saying that they have measures to identify those fake/new accounts and not take those 1/10 or 10/10 reviews (possibly like the accounts u mentioned with no pfp / zero activity) into the calculation of the actual drama’s rating.
Yeahh hah, trailer + reviews + comments can make u deem it as 1/10 without watching any episodes. Absolute clown lol.
I was going to ask how much propaganda this show is … decided to check the “reviews” on here first… that’s…
MDL has measures in place to combat fake ratings like 1s or 10s and for those whose accounts are new / only activity on the website so that the actual ratings would be closer to being fair (although we do not know how effective the measures truly are). But people like u, who are proper users, yet gives a rating of 1 to the show WITHOUT even watching it just becuz it “sounds like shit” are equally as bad, if not worse. I can only say you are nothing more than a hater and u should gtfo lol. You are part of the problem in people doubting the integrity of the ratings.
@Elsietheone “Please do not watch with Western expectations regarding the leads' relationship progression. Most cultures around the world expect relationships to start 'slow' so a bunch of us can actually relate to this. In fact, this show has more PDA and more skinship than you'll find in most Cdramas. Only a very few can match up.”
Reply to @Elsietheone: @Cicadina “I don't agree with you. The fact that the expression of feelings in Asian dramas differs from European ones, we Europeans have long understood and accepted this difference. If everything was as you write, we would not like any Asian romantic drama, but this is not the case at all! After all, there are dramas in which the relationship develops quite well and the FL is able to show reciprocal sympathy or even love in a healthy and understandable way to a European, and not constantly turn away with a face like she doesn’t like her ML partner. It’s just that in this drama they overplayed the “innocence” of FL and the feelings of many viewers made them feel bored, disappointed or even irritated.”
My Reply to @Cicadina: @MyeTezz “Just to add my two cents, your point was well-written and valid, but I disagree with the part about 'with a face like she doesn’t like her ML partner' because it was clear to me that she likes the ML as well from her expression, even if she was being evasive like you said. And from an Asian perspective (or at least mine), instead of seeing her as 'overplaying her innocence,' to me it's more like part of the romantic playfulness or teasing dynamic, with some shyness. Of course, she doesn’t evade all the time; it's just something like push-pull to keep the relationship fun and playful occasionally. I might not have phrased it perfectly, but I hope I got my point across. So yeah, it can still be a perspective/culture thing that differs from European or Western perspectives, which tend to be more straightforward/direct, & less conservative.”
@Cicadina “Thank you for your opinion! I still think that the main assessment here is determined not by what place on the planet the viewer is from, but by his individual perceptions, sensations and associations while viewing this drama. Because not only Europeans express dissatisfaction with this drama. And also a lot of Europeans are delighted with it.”
@MyeTezz “Yes I agree. At the end of the day, it’s still your own perspective & perception that matter after all (but where u come from does shape it to some extent tho), I was just providing an additional perspective to it :) I wasn’t trying to generalise all Europeans, Asians, etc., just to be clear. Well, this was an interesting discussion. Thanks for your input as well!”

Damnn I didnt know Xiaoyan’s mum was so annoying… 6min screentime of her contesting against their relationship, but at least Nana refutes back for Xiaoyan.
Aside, I remember reading Philip K Dick's 1960 Hugo-award-winning novel, The Man in the High Castle (which also…
That’s 無爲 (wú wéi) but the character name is 吴魏 (wú wèi) which is totally different fyi, so yeah quite a stretch imo. As for the novel vs. drama, I believe the drama sold the sentiments much better, but since u’ve already dropped it, I guess there’s not much point in me saying it, just to provide a perspective.
Love your review. You pretty much hit the nail on the head as to why I personally really adore "Amidst a Snowstorm…
Very well said. Your words echo my sentiments perfectly, and I couldn’t agree more. The quiet moments shared by LYY & YG speak volumes, adding beautiful subtle depth to their relationship. It's a shame that not everyone appreciates or understands the 'show & felt' experiences and actually thinks they need to talk more lol, tho I guess it’s very subjective.
I’m glad my info was helpful, and I do hope you pick up billiards since it’s a very fun pastime imo. Thanks for liking my review and also sharing your perspective, providing more in-depth insights to it. I really appreciate it! :)
