i genuinely want to ask you guys. if you watch a drama that you don't like or simply it just not to your taste…
For me if it’s something negative I’d usually only write it on my notes and list comments (for me to look back), and I particularly ignore people who starts whining after watching just a few eps, etc.
Never thought I'd actually pre-rate a show before finishing it, but I guess that just shows how much I'm loving it. Soo hyped for every single episode, can’t wait!
Entertaining dynamics among the main trio, accompanied by consistently sharp, witty, and funny comedy. The show also succeeds in presenting intriguing and emotionally impactful cases, each with its own compelling storyline that is well-executed. I particularly love how the show effortlessly transitions between moments of laughter and heartfelt emotion, truly a great blend of humor and heart.
While it took me until around Episode 3 to fully get into the show, it ultimately proves to be worth watching.
I wish this drama was as bright as the cover. I really can't get into the story because I don't like the cinema…
It might be a you thing, since I believe the director's decision regarding the lighting was spot-on and perfectly captured the intended tone and vibe of the show, which I'm thoroughly enjoying.
Personally not a fan of bullying/delinquents theme, but I must admit that the execution here was just brilliant and riveting. The tone throughout was very immersive and for the content it adapted from, this live-adaptation stood out due to the remarkable acting of the cast, resulting in a more poignant and emotionally charged narrative.
I believe my rating would have been higher had I not already completed the webtoon and possessed prior knowledge/familiarity of what was to come.
Entertaining and engaging enough, thanks to the exceptional acting of both Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee. I would say they contributed significantly to the show’s appeal for me.
Such bold storytelling approach. Many shows hesitate to take ‘detours’, fearing a loss of audience interest, but look at this show. Unwavering confidence in the direction and narrative it wants to convey, trusting that the audience will comprehend and appreciate all the various, meticulously weaved threads (backstories), before seamlessly pulling everything together in a meaningful way towards the climax. Simply a masterclass.
And let’s not forget that the romance of Kim Doo Shik & Lee Mi Hyun is literally the definition of an epic love story.
Heartwarming. Healing. Comforting. Motivating. Beautifully written and exquisitely executed.
I don’t even want to nitpick anything because the themes covered themselves deserve a 100/10. It's my favorite show this year and one of the best coming-of-age/family + romance K-dramas.
Definitely worth the time and it certainly has a high rewatch value!
Just binged 14 episodes in one sitting. I have high praise for this show; I haven’t loved a K-drama this much in forever, and this might be one of the rare occasions that I might actually rate the show (depending on the ending, but I have full trust in the writing). I just love shows that can deeply touch me.
You know it's good when you actually bother to check who the screenwriter/director is just to see what other works they've done.

I agree with you personality-wise he is the least likable and in some way hes truly the most apt 'devil' player. His fake pretend justice was annoying but we can't deny he has some skills. I dislike Yumin more as the saying goes, "What one should really fear is not a competent enemy, but an incompetent ally.". And Yumin proves exactly that, I didn't really see her executing any schemes or actually making any plays on her own tbh except for garnering a few pity votes.

Only pity was Dong Jae being outted so early :( Seok Jin was right that he had the potential and he could have shown more skills if given the right opportunity. Really a pity. More skill-based elimination is what the audience wants :(

I loved all his works from The Genius (4 Seasons) to Society Game (2 Seasons) to The Great Escape (4 Seasons) to Girls High School Mystery Class (2 Seasons, 3rd one TBD). I highly recommend anyone who loves The Devil's Plan to try out any of his works! :D I NEED MOREE!!
