Yeah that's what I realized once I starting reading the novel. Guess I'll just have to wait and see how this plays out.

So from the plot, I'm assuming this might be similar to those vertical dramas, where the main girl has a substitute marry her sick, dying husband in her stead, but then he gets better, and she gets mad/wants to take her position back? So the parts where txw is seen playing someone evil, it's probably the WR character?

I finally finished the show, and QYK is my most hated character. Glad he died, but I wish it was more painful, with his sick, weird obessive self.

Given that this is a cdrama, they probably won't tbh. Every cdrama I've seen based on a novel with a SE has the same or similar ending in the show.

I agree with this take so much. I think people are also forgetting that she doesn't have as much information as we the viewers have.

The book explains it better; they are all humans. They are called demons because of the type of cultivation they practice. It's considered unorthodox.
