Wasn't planning on watching this as it was airing, was going to watch after it was done, but the tiktok edits got me. Only to find out...it's not even out yet ... tears.
why women cooking for men in c-drama and K-dramas is such a taboo? as a man I do like to cook don't get me wrong,…
They did not do that in this drama. During the time period this is supposed to be in, it's disgraceful for a woman not to cook/know how to cook, which is why JA saying what he said to LS was significant. Not really sure how or why you took it the other way.
I have a question...major spoiler question btw. Will post down below.
It's been awhile since I read the book, but from what I remember, the ML when transformed killed some of his countries top generals and that's part of why things were going to shit etc and why he wanted to distance himself from the FL cause she knew this secret. So did they change that arc in the story and are instead making it so that General Li is the 'reason' (we know he's not, and that it's a lie) all this stuff is happening? I'm just trying to figure out if they are still going the 'ML loses his title/right to the throne and roams around with FL' route or not.
I feel like if I were Concubine Kang, I'd be taking a different approach. A more fake nice approach. Befriend the person you think might take your place, see if you can manipulate their emotions to get them on your side, and then divide and conquer, meaning giving the king and yjy different info to turn them against each other. I feel like her attacking yjy head-on won't really help her. It's just going to make the king resent her faster. And tbh, I'm not sure why she doesn't see that.
Anyways, I enjoyed ep 3, can't wait for ep 4 tomorrow.
