Yes, it was kinda a bait and switch. Naksu spent all of season one trying to get her powers back and plot revenge against those who had wronged her. But she is sabotaged at the end of S1. You would think there would be more of contrast between the amnesia Naksu and Naksu when she fully regains her memories but they are pretty much the same person. The character of Naksu in S2 is just not the same as Naksu in S1, the difference is noticeable as many have pointed out.

LOL, I changed it to 7.5 that was weeks ago. That review was written at the half point in my defense I simply haven't updated it.

Yeah international audiences/ American audience will not be as forgiving and I think tend to be more objective, they don't care if its your favorite idol character or it if it has multiple kissing scenes. The story actually has to flow and be coherent. The romance is draggy, the plot holes are glaring and characters are dumb. But I'll admit AOS still maintains its charm and the end was good finish. People think I'm hating when I'm just being objective.

I noticed the same contrast with Naksu. It just made GYJ not believeable as the real Naksu even when she starts to get her memories back.

I think its one of the better episodes towards the end, it actually progresses the story.

CP is actually my fav character, to me he is the most like a real person. He character is dynamic and he acts according to his circumstances and flirts with evil but he has good heart. I don't like that fact they made him kinda of dumb towards Jin Mu, but its understandable.

I think a lot of people are in love with the characters more than the actual show(story), so for them the plot doesn't actually matter as much. So it doesn't have be good or make sense, because they only care that it treats their fav characters well. Of course this is just my opinion, but I think it explains the difference in views in general.

Have you not read the type of people in the comments. They don't care about a cohesive story or a plot that makes sense, intelligent characters but they love contradictions, plot holes or a circular story that doesn't progress much. The dumb characters are honestly to much for me. The Queen is idiot, the King is an Idiot, I actually like CP but because Jin Mu is still able to manipulate him he is certainly an idiot. Mama Jin is idiot, Yul is an idiot, I digress to many dumb characters and Master Lee is all over the place, his only purpose is to let evil run wild why he does nothing but act like he has some type of grand master plan, when he is really just a device by the writers to fill plot holes that don't make sense with new ones.

I agree you are not alone. 100% correct . the show reminds me of a cheesy romance anime for kids. But It still has this unique charm and the first 12 ep of S1 were so good I have to finish it.

Great comment, more mature than how I would have put it. Everyone has different opinions but no one who is objective is giving this 10/10. These people are out of touch with reality, this is a 7-8 at best. Not even on the same level as S1.

Master Lee filling in old plot holes by creating new ones. I love it. You just have to accept this drama for what it is. Funny how people think there is some type of rhyme or reason, some type of masterful over arching plot that ties all the sub-plots and mysteries together. Did people not watch S1, Sorry there just isn't. This entire season goes in circles, nothing much has changed. But I enjoy it, it has its charm, hoping for a good ending.

Exactly, I agree. don't say to much you will upset the emotional. They could have just showed Buyeon and UK holding hands and walking in circles for 10eps and these fans would have love it. 10/10 Best Drama ever. But let me stop. I still like and enjoy the show that is why I continue to watch, plus the first 12 ep of S1 could have made this show all time one of the greatest of all time but the last 8ep of S1 were trash. and S2 is mediocre and doesn't even compare to S1 in my opinion but its still good.

You seem kinda of emotional and biased against cdramas. Misogyny is contempt for, or prejudice against women. It is a form of sexism that is used to keep women at a lower social status than men. I re-watch Arsenal Military Academy and The Legends just about every year.
