You are exactly right, don't waste your time trying to explain to other people. They brought back the same Mudeok…
No We actually agree, What the op is saying is the writers are basically using the same relationship dynamics in part 1 and 2 amongst a similar setting, instead of expanding the story and creating new relationship dynamics and changing the power structure. All the characters are essentially playing the same roles they played in part 1. Same story different skins. That is what the op is saying and the op is correct at least up to this point in part 2. The Op's point is the characters, power structure, relationship dynamics are the same. They did a reset on Naksu and basically made her Mudeok 2.0 and she shares the same relationship dynamic with UK. So the OP sees this as a rewrite of part 1 instead of a continuation of the story, which it basically appears to be at this point. Nonetheless even though that's true we still have much more to go. The next 8 episodes will prove if this is just a figurative rewrite of part 1 or a further expansion of the story.

Personally for me they didn’t continue part 1 with part 2 but they just rewrited the story by changing the main…
You are exactly right, don't waste your time trying to explain to other people. They brought back the same Mudeok + UK dynamic. They put UK in black but he is still basically the same and all the other characters are pretty much the same, they may have subtle differences but no real change.
Naksu is still the helpless maid not able to get her powers back.
UK- I admit UK's tone has changed between that and other than wearing black he is not all that different.
Seo Yul is still the laid back righteous character and potential love triangle.
Jin Mu is still the evil villain orchestrating behind the scenes.
The Crown Prince and arrogant do-gooder, a little foolish and a little kind.
Jin Cho-Yeon Is still the spoiled naive rich girl who follows her mothers instructions.
Mama Jin is still the delusional grieving mother who is willing to turn a blind eye towards evil
So-I - Is still a selfish instigator only (like why is she still in the story)
Park Jin- is still the somewhat dimwhitted and noble leader ( I know he step down)
Park Dang-Gu- the goofy sidekick who is always encouraging and lost in love.

master lee has ice stone? i probably would said that he use the same trick like how naksu could be alive like…
I get it, but Master Lee didn't mind, Mama Jin, Jin Mu or the witch doctor having the ice stone.

No, UK has the ice stone. Naksu did have the ice stone but they made her give it up. This is was never really explained.

I thought master Lee found out it was Naksu early on but had let her be
Only if she did not use her powers or sword. Ep16 22 min, Master Lee gives UK the sword back and tells him if anyone uses this sword they will be killed, basically referring to Naksu.

At every turn Naksu has either been manipulated, controlled or threatened by a man. Jin Mu stole her best years and used her as an Assassin after killing her father and lied to her, Park Jin hunted her as Naksu and even as Mudeok threatened to kill her several times. The Crown Prince did the same to her, I know it was cute and funny but he almost killed her several times. The King chooses to kill her as a guinea pig for his entertainment. Uk initially just wanted to use her to break his seal, even after he falls for her he still makes a deal with Master Lee to kill her if she ever uses her sword. When Naksu does get her power back with the ice stone, UK basically tells her she can't have the power and she needs to make a choice. Then in the end she still gets killed after being controlled by Jin Mu's ringing bells. Naksu constantly had to hid herself and succumb to the will of others. All the numerous plot holes aside. Why is it that when everyone else has the ice stone, Master lee is fine with it. But when Naksu gets the ice stone or power he threatens to kill her ?

I actually think Naksu's current "personality with memory loss" being this bubbly and bright resembles her childhood…
Really, I thought the childhood version of her was rather mature and mysterious.

I agree, I thought she would be Naksu in the purest form but instead she is just a Mudeok remake. The writers…
I'm still holding out that the reason they brought back Go Yoon Jung as Naksu, is to bring back the badass assassin Naksu. Hopefully, this school girl thing is just to contrast her changing into badass assassin Naksu.

Yeah, I agree completely. I honestly find UK a very boring character. After the first 10 ep he doesn't do anything and everything is handed to him. Now he is upset that Naksu stabbed him and died, but he was plotting with Maser Lee to kill Naksu if she didn't give up her powers. So many plot holes people over look.

Anyone out there understands why Jin Bu Yeon chose to trap Naksu's soul to begin with?
I don't think we will get an answer that makes sense, there are already so many plot holes. I'm disappointed how they wrapped up the Naksu and Buyeon arc. S2 is basically Mudeok 2.0.

I like this part 2, it's a little darker, on the other hand the new Female lead sometimes has mimics of a child,…
I agree, I thought she would be Naksu in the purest form but instead she is just a Mudeok remake. The writers just want to remake the Mudeok +UK dynamic. I want a UK and fearless powerful Naksu. UK and Naksu as equals not this rehash of S1 where you UK is powerful and Naksu is basically a maid.

Better save this description so we don’t have to rewrite again. I just know people would still act clueless…
Honestly, the writers don't even follow their own rules within the fictional world. Their are so many plot holes at this point.

Seriously, the writers have broken their own rules so many times. Why are you trying to still make sense of it?

Yea, I don't understand her decision. If her daughter's soul is dead, what's the point of resurrecting her body,…
Remember Mama Jin needs an heir to maintain control over Jinyowon relics and artifacts. She initially was going to keep Buyeon/Naksu locked up and marry her off secretly to produce an heir that she could pass Jinyowon to, remember it has to be the first born female. Because this didn't work she is being pushed by Jin Mu to reveal Buyeon/Naksu to unanimous assembly as her heir or possibly risk losing control of Jinyowon. Of course Jin Mu just wants investigate Buyeon/Naksu. So he basically threatens Mama Jin telling her she is getting old and weak and has no heir and since Jinyowon has been closed off for 3 years the committee members may no longer trust her to guard Jinyowon and pass it to another family.
