Watched 8 ep. Found it hard going and depressing. Not helped with the new guy coming in to mess up the lives of…
I finished it and I felt a little underwhelmed. If you're not liking it by episode 8 I'm not sure if it would be worth continuing since the ending feels quite rushed
What influenced the rating below 8? This isn't a good production? Because looks like something with high budget.
Probably because it feels more like a movie than a typical kdrama, and movies are usually rated lower here compared to dramas. To be honest I recommend watching it because this isn't by any means a bad drama: the cinematography is stunning, the story offers a lot of food for thought and the main leads gave some great performances. It's actually one of my favorite dramas and I think it deserves higher ratings, but it's not the first time I disagree with the consensus on mdl lol.
All Episodes are out, but still no official eng subs >_
Take it with a grain of salt, but I've just seen that someone posted on Twitter that Paramount picked it up for global release. Bad news is that it should be in 2023 so we'll need to wait at least a few months
They are literally machine translated, come onπ. Of course you can still understand what happens, because the plot is not that complicated, but that doesn't mean that the subs are decent lol
I absolutely loved the last two episodes, this is getting really intense! I also like this mix of noir/hard-boiled detective drama and comical moments when you least expect it
2nd ep is out for eng sub; and as usual, bad sub TT o TTI don't mind taking a long time to have proper sub...…
If it takes too long then I'll just give up and watch it with the subs we have at the moment, but for now I'll try to wait for clearer subs since this drama seems really good and I don't wanna miss some dialogues due to clunky translation
Use MDL for info not for review and judging of a show. People here only rate shows on Netflix good
That's not true at all, it's the contrary actually: lately dramas produced by online platforms, including Netflix, are receiving a lot of hate for trying different things and destroying the "soul" of kdramas, whatever that is.
If you like dark thrillers this seems very good, but the subs we have now aren't good, so I'll suggest waiting…
Unfortunately I have no idea. We can hope that shortly after the drama finishes airing (which should be this friday since it's a short one, unless there are delays) some ott will pick it up and we'll get official subs

Yes, you're right, I think I'll wait too. I don't wanna ruin the story by not understanding what they're saying (please tving give us good subs soon π₯²).
The first episode was great. I liked that they filmed it in one take (or at least they're using editing tricks to make it look like it's one take), it feels fresh. Jeon Jong Seo is fantastic as usual. Too bad the subs aren't that good and they became a little confusing in the second half
It was great for me. It was really beautifully shot, had a lot of food for thought and the two leads did an excellent job in their role. But it's more like a slightly longer movie than a drama due to its short length
If watcha has English subs then it probably won't take long until someone posts the subs somewhere, if it doesn't then we'll need to wait for some platform to pick it up or for fansubs
This one feels much more polished than Blind imo. Its only flaw is that it seems a little slow
Weeell, actually there's supposed to be another season made up of 8 episodes after this one so... π. Let's hope it stays good until the end though π€
