I am looking to find YI-San to watch. Any leads? I am in North America.
I cannot invest in a K-drama that is over...30 episodes unless it a series I am seriously invested in. I am too used to U.S. shows which usually air between 20-24 episodes per season, so I'm burnt out by the time I get the 4th or 5th season on any show. It's just too much. I have never watched a series in its entirety...EXCEPT 24 ON FOX...because there's just too much TV to choose from. That's kind of why I like K-dramas. They have a very contained story that ends with some finality.

Me too...obviously. That's why I am trusting in Korea, K-dramas production teams and staff...and of course JUNHO (and LEE MIN HO...because that man's lips are to die for) to get us back here for another party in the near future. I have become a fan of JUNHO and his intense STARE, and I have a become a fan of...the FL lead. (Sorry, but my mind is having problems remembering her name). I will get it one day, but you rock girl!!!!!!! This whole production rocked and I am happy I was here to witness the event. It will forever be "engraved" in my mind...along with JUNHO'S INTENSE STARE!!!!!
The funny thing is Viki keeps updating the subtitles, so every time I watch an episode again it’s like brand new because the words change. Like the lonely dog, became the righteous dog…lol

They just added it recently. I think the popularity of the TRS led to a bit of a resurgence. I couldn't really make it through all 77 episodes. I just watched the beginning and the end. Those were really the only parts that interested me. I'm hoping Viki adds the Scarlet Heart one everyone keeps recommending. I'm spoiled by streaming devices and refuse to watch anything on a tiny computer or tablet.
When is the blu-ray likely to be released for all regions? I've only ever bought one K-drama, Legend of the Blue Sea, for my physical library, but this drama has already got a place on the shelf waiting for it.
Tbh they could’ve just aired 13 & 14 on 24th and 25th, 15 on 1st and then 16th and 17th on the following week…
It seems like no one really expected this drama to do that well. I'm not so sure about Korea, but here in the states shows that get pushed to the holidays are usually expected to underperform, but this show is like the little engine that could. Unfortunately, it's too late to change air dates and it's better to just get it over with like ripping off a band aid

I'd like to think they read some of the comments on this board and implemented changes that will make the fans happy. I know some people don't like fan service, but I love it because it means we matter. I want to see a happy YiSan and Doek-Im, so if they give us that I will be eternally grateful and I will engrave my bones with the happiness I feel.
