Agreed. I’ve been trying to stay interested but it really drags. None of the characters are interesting and for a revenge story there seems to be a lack of a real villain or hero. There is really no one to root for.

Not really. This drama has a zombie/trapped in a building vibe, and the ML in this is very devoted with no 2nd ML. It's very unique. Though... it does remind me a bit of Alice in Borderland, which is a J-drama. The romance in that is also slight, but the two leads have a similar vibe in that they work together as a team.

That's wild that the controversy got that far to begin with since it was a personal matter.

The second lead syndrome in this was bad and I think they made the 2nd lead so good to highlight there was no one else for her. Even with the ML faults, which he admitted, they were suited for each other in a way that time and familiarity had bred. There was no one else for her or him.

Thank you! I am not familiar with the cast at all. The ML is someone I have seen, but not someone I know of per se. I have never watched him in anything. Again...thanks. I will read some reviews and see how I feel about the word of mouth.

I just finished watching The Glory and I loved her villainess turn in that, so I will keep my eye out for her.

I have been watching this again because I really like the chemistry between the ML and FL. When I first watched this on Viki it had some weird editing cuts that have since been resolved. I think it was a poor upload when I first watched, which is why I am watching again. Though, I wish there was more romance in this and that there was a greater build up to the virus and the cure. I feel like this drama may have been pared down because it feels incomplete, certain threads are never resolved or left hanging completely ,and it ends very abruptly. This could have been a lot better. As it is the chemistry between the two leads is the only real highlight.

Overall I enjoyed this. The first part is where the revenge is set up and the second part is where it all plays out. The way the season ends makes it seem like there could be more in the future, though I am pretty satisfied with the ending even though it's open-ended. There is hardly any romance in this and I was okay with that. The two leads are both damaged individuals so rooting for them to fall in love while she is plotting revenge is silly. I like it how the two of them progressed throughout the story, and the ML is a nice foil to the FL. The acting in this really stands out. Everyone of the cast did a phenomenal job. This is a little overhyped IMO, but it is very good. Definitely worth a watch.

Looking forward to this. I don't care if it's cliche or cheesy. Still looking forward to it.

This is damn good. I am glad I waited for all the episodes to air and that I picked a good week to binge. It is addictive.

I have been watching episodes of this on and off along with Boys Over Flowers. I have to watch the older dramas in small doses because they are too OTT for me. City Hunter is also OTT and the plot is so ridiculous, so I'm just watching this for the two leads because they look good on screen together.

I found this to be entertaining for a lazy weekend. It's a Christmas movie set in Korea a la Love Actually; so there are snippets of different stories and couples. The only ones that stood out were the maid and the CEO, the best friends, and the old folks. On a whole it was decent enough to keep my attention

I am find this very boring. I think the drama is watching me more than I am watching it. There is nothing particularly noteworthy or interesting to hold my attention. It’s well shot and decently acted though, so it’s not a total waste.

That is exactly what I just said…lol. The FL in Cruel Romance was TSTL. If the FL in this drama is anything like that I will have to drop.
