Me too! Me too. But I did like the explanation I read about it because then it made more sense. Dude could not…
He…restricted her freedom and maintained that control by threatening her family’s freedom…so more like coercive control. Blackmail and all that. No physical abuse, but abuse is not always physical.

What a minute? Were we watching the same thing? That is actual abuse just dressed up nicely. If he kept her in a cage like a dog it would still be the same thing. He is cute though...that always makes it better...lol. No one wants to be caged by an ugly dude. 🙃

@Shannon So you've never watched "Coffee Prince"? It's a true classic you can't possibly skip as a k-drama fan!…
Haha...all comic heroes are wish fulfillment. But the the best superhero is a human being named Lois Lane. She's a great reporter and a crusader for truth. 😀

Meh...It's been a rough couple of weeks...I am going to hibernate and watch Disney movies for about two weeks.

As a drama watching site, I question the inclusion of topics involving the personal lives of the actors. It only…
LOL...how is this different than reporting on them getting married or having babies? You can't always have good news and reporting bad news is good if it encourages healthy discussion. Plus, I think people want to help the guy, so they don't want to see him strung up and punished.

i loved this..but i wanted a happy ending!
Me too! Me too. But I did like the explanation I read about it because then it made more sense.

Dude could not get away with all that. I mean…not even in fictional drama land, and apparently when this was airing in China. That is how everyone felt. There had to be consequences, so that is what is up with the ending. Now I guess in the book they do get married and pop out a couple of kids. They do get together, so I just made my own ending in my mind. Since I started watching dramas, I have become good at that. 🖖🏽

No! No! And No again…lol. There is a thread with the book’s ending. I used that to just mentally imagine. The sequel is even more confusing and doesn’t even resolve the first ending. So again…no. 😀

I am fairly certain that if Netflix put in cash for the production, so it’s a joint venture with a SK production…
Yes, they absolute should release it, especially if they invested in the production in the first place. I don't know how censorship works in SK, though I am aware some countries can block certain content from Netflix. Yet, as an American, I better be able to see it here in America.

I finished it and it is good. Though I warn you the ending (last episode) might leave you unsatisfied, but it's a such a wild ride it doesn't even matter. Enjoy!

It was part of sweep of hospitals/clinics in Gangnam area that were administering propofol illegally that included…
I am betting it is the opposite in fact. As many entertainment types start with coke or adderall (legal) then move to the depressants, usually MJ then to stronger types, to lower the increased effects from increased usage of the stimulant, i.e. sleepless, nervousness, etc . As you say it is a vision cycle no matter which direction you start. Most though start to get their creative juices flowing then feel they need something to calm them down. No matter. Once you start down the path…you will join the dark side. Addiction is powerful.

Netflix can just geo-blocked his shows in SK. They can available it to the rest of the world, can't they? People…
I am fairly certain that if Netflix put in cash for the production, so it’s a joint venture with a SK production company, then they will HAVE to release it on their platform to make their money back. Netflix is a western company and they are not going to throw away money, which is bad business, because of SK netizens. SK government may bar the movie in their country, but the rest of the world will see it because Netflix made an investment. They need to recoup their cost by putting eyeballs on the screen, and they don’t care about the guy’s personal problems. Plus, I want to see the movie and I pay a lot of money for Netflix, so I expect my viewpoint and those who share it will supercede what SK netizens who don’t pay for Netflix have to say. Again, Netflix is an American 🇺🇸 company, so I wouldn’t worry too much. We believe in second chances here in the U.S, and an American entertainment company would not cancel a movie because of an actors drug use. That doesn’t even make sense.

Wild! The sad thing is this is an actor I notice and look for. I don't know his name, but I remember him from…
Robert Downey Jr.

Edit: On a side note: I avoided hard drugs (I live in Cali 😉) my entire life after watching a movie starring RDJ (Robert Downey Jr.) called “Less Than Zero”. In that movie he plays an addict whose life spirals out of control due to drug use and abuse. Ironically, during that movie, RDJ was a complete addict, so the performance is very true to his actual life even though it’s a fictional movie. It’s an older flick, but if you can find it watch it one day one day. I credit that movie for opening my eyes to what drugs could do to you. Plus it has a banging soundtrack even to this day.
