That's the common sense they lack to acknowledge in trying to compete with professional artists. Atleast in TTEOM, Bailu was saved, cause DW cp was with ChenDuling so his fans and team couldn't do much (still harassed Bailu & LuoYunxi) but Yangzi here wasn't lucky enough to save from their harassing attacks.
These 2 fandoms have been fighting for a while. Some stuff started from fans arguing. DW's fans got upset that YZ didn't choose Jing. Things got so escalated that also dragged director of LYF and author of novel, accused them of not understanding Jing etc. Official weibo for LYF issued a statement that they are the only official source of info for show, as YaoJing was making too much issues. Outright ignored what TH said in interview, that XY just want a 'Companion'. Inbetween mess, some of DW's major fan accounts announced, they won't support LYF 2 & Tencent. His team got caught doing stuff against YZ, to generate attention. Why brush off criticisms on basis that he isn't responsible for his fandom and team's behaviour. No offense, but seems he is happy to accept credits when things turn out good, but won't accept responsibility when it turns bad. DW did a live video to calm his fans for not attending TAS event. Yet, he didn't come out to tell his fans to stop attacking YangZi, Tencent, LYF & crew.

Now truths of their disparaging remarks, attacks, misleading facts about novel, drama, other leads to extent of even dragging author got exposed, they are trying to turn wave, putting all blames on others.
