The confusion is for us but not for the FL. In her mind, the 1000th hike is the SML no? She will have her conflicted feelings period now. Her mind says her SML coz of the hike but her heart will be already with ML. I am not even ruling out the possibility of her dating SML for a few episodes just to sort out her conflicted thoughts coz we have 10 more episodes. That's a lot.

I so hope I am wrong about this by tomorrow's episode though xD

She definitely won't consider him the man of her life but It's the same ol conflicted feelings period for FL we have seen before. She is in love with ML but in her head it will bother her that SML is her destiny. So this will go on for a few episodes where she will try to sort it out I am sure. Maybe she will even start dating SML now that she knows her partner won't get hurt but her mind/feelings will always be with ML. I wish I am completely wrong about this and the show takes a totally different route but with 16 episodes, this is very likely to happen.

Highly doubt it if we are to go by the synopsis but again a chaebol husband and wife without a third party temptation in a melodrama is also unlikely in kdrama land. fingers crossed xD

The issue is not about him sleeping with others. It's coz he slept with someone whilst being in a relationship with his then GF. That is very much frowned upon in china. Hence it blew up.

Exactly. It would be so boring if they take that route. That's why I wish the writer surprises us but knowing history of kdramas, I fear this has the higher probability to happen as it as 16 episodes and FL is already head over heels for ML xD

yeah, but I think it will be the SML unless the writer surprises us. Normally (as in typical kdrama way) they will go for the SML here and drag it on for few eps till ML and FL sort out their feelings for each other which would be so stale for us xD

Same. I saw 3 episodes and dropped it. Found it very boring and figured out it's not my cup of tea.

I hope they don't go the route of baek ryun probably meeting the SML at the mountain on her final 1000th attempt and misunderstand that he is her destined and her conflicting feelings with ML whilst being with SML as the plot device. That would be so unoriginal and repetitive. It's good they have added all the murder, mystery in it imo.

PS: I haven't seen the 4th episode yet. maybe they already addressed it in that ep.

Ruyi being the badass assassin not knowing about anything else except for killing people is being gradually taught to love, have compassion, enjoy life a bit more and even about court affairs today by Ning. Like Ning yuanzhou has been constantly educating her to help her see the world beyond her wasted years of being an assassin. This is beautiful screenplay to evolve Ruyi's character. Outstanding

In EP15, Ruyi flipping back the poisonous needle claiming it was her who was the inventor of that poison was so badass. I love it how the leads both have so many badass moments already
