Exactly. Tong seems to be way mature for this guy. I am pretty sure the Loveline won't be convincing enough for me even if he gets character development (also because I really love Tong Xin character atm & feel like she deserves someone at her level instead of an immature kid). So, I would rather Tong xin didn't have a pair instead of this forced pairing just to keep the plot moving as he will be rejected by FL anyway in next few episodes. She deserves way better than to be a rebound for this guy.

I don't know why but it's always a bit uncomfortable for me when dialogues like 'ugly' are used for kid actors. Maybe I am just a bit touchy as I always overthink about how hurtful it might be for them to have a dialogue like that written to refer their appearance :/

Yes, all of this falls under 'Infidelity' actually. I am shocked how people can be this dense towards a sensitive subject or lack cognizance of the topic. I wonder if the OP even knows the kind of mental traumas people go through after being cheated emotionally. Sigh.

Emotional cheating is still cheating btw (Look up the definition of Infidelity). So, if viewers are feeling icky, that's understandable. So, what's the problem? Are you suggesting the viewers to not show their displeasure? Or is your view of 'cheating' so narrow that you will feel the disgust only if it ends up being physical?

Infidelity is always a sensitive subject. Emotional cheating can be just as repugnant as seeking a sexual relationship outside for many of the viewers. So let them vent their frustration if they are bothered by it. You literally downplayed it in a way as if it's a huge 'No No' only if it ends up being physical. That's just as dense one can get.

A guy who has a fantastic acting range is continuously stereotyped to play a second lead whereas the ML is given for someone who has this one expression for all situations. Well done 👍
