Also he was adopted as a kid & father passed away when he was an adult. So, she is just seeing him as an older brother considering all of this as he is the only family left for her. Also, from their interaction, I never saw any step sibling infatuation.

Her dialogue delivery isn't that great either. She delivers all her dialogues in same monotonous tone irrespective of the situation. I mean for this show, it doesn't matter much but her next work is with full of veterans & plenty of angst. I fear bad news but hopefully she can surprise me.
