Now that I have finished the show, I can definitely say I started to lose interest towards the end especially in how things unfolded to get the bad guys. The whole resolution felt very underwhelming. But the biggest issue for me was Xiao Jue’s voice in the entire show. I am not sure if it was his real voice or dubbed but it was extremely distracting especially during emotional scenes. His voice was so breathy/airy/husky (not sure to find the right word here), almost like he was speaking only with air instead of sound, which made it grating to listen to. Maybe I am in the minority but it felt very jarring every single time till the very end. (Please tell me atleast one person felt uncomfortable like me about this lol)

Regardless it was quite a decent watch. Personally l felt the romance wasn't too captivating at all (or rather not enough or well crafted?). But maybe it's just the pre airing hype not translating. So I am fine with that. 8/10 in my book.
