This is a cute fluff show with little depth. The first half was good but everything after that dragged, not much happens and they go on trips every ep with montages galore. It gets frustrating so just keep your expectations low and don’t expect much plot just enjoy the fluff.
This was an ensemble cast which seems to be the future for Gmm bls with the amount of cps they have and this doesn’t set a good example for future works. I just feel frustrated that this will be alone/Phuwins last show for a while together and it was this boring. I understand light hearted shows but that doesn’t mean it has to lack any angst and depth. I think Bad Buddy is the perfect example of being a light show but it had many layers/plot points and it didn’t get boring after they got together. Only friends also had multiple couples and each one had a developed story can they not do the same but with a lighter show TT. Even the one angsty conflict they had with Phum’s father was so random either they commit to it or not. Idk what’s up with Gmm shows adding the daddy issues in the last episode. The way it was kinda resolved was soo half assed they might as well have left it open ended. He said he would try to talk it out and leave it at that. All the back and forth glances to just answer a basic question is wild and then the proud stares TT The kisses and angles were sometimes painful idk why they let it slide. PPw had some stiff jaw action going on and most of their kisses were blocked they had horrible angles. Winny and Satang had some awkward stiff kisses too idk how they’ll do if they get their own show. I feel like Satang is carrying the range and Winny plays the same type of role.
I was really excited for this show and I didn’t know if it could live up to my expectations but it was pretty decent. The first ep was just intros and world building so a lot happened with minimum couple screen time but I liked the pacing. Plawon is such a brat so it’s kinda hard to root for him but that scene at the end between them was sizzling. We just got a glimpse of a moment with them and I’m convinced I’m looking forward to more of their fighting type of flirting. Especially with the little spoiler clips we got at the end they are such affectionate ppl and I can’t wait. I didn’t know this would only get 8 eps I hope it can get extended 😭 the story will probably progress fast due to the 8 eps. I’m not sure how Jj and Metas will get together cause it seems like Jj plays nice while Metas doesn’t trust anyone and pushes ppl away harshly. But why would Jj even push to be nice to him when clearly we saw in ep 1 he’s hates him. I wonder if he’s trying to get something from him hmm
I seriously can’t wait for this show it’s the perfect mix of light hearted and some drama and surprisingly spicyy. I hope this gets the hype it deserves the trailer got me hyped. I’m just now getting into SailubPon so I hope this goes well for them I know the competition is tough with so many shows coming out in July.
Man this show is dragging I’m not sure if it will get more meaty. We keep getting episodes that’s centre around a group hang out like the festival, bar drinking, now camp and then all the stories need to fit in that event. But we’re left with a montage of the friends having fun and play fighting nearly every episode which end up feeling empty. I like the friend groups but I rather they focus on the pairs even friends wise when they’re shown in a pair there’s more emotion to it. Q and Peem have a great friendship and so do Phum and Beer and those aren’t felt in the group montages it’s felt in the one on one scenes. So the group clips sometimes just waste time.
Phum and Pheems story next ep is looking good and looking like it’s finally moving forward. I’m glad that Pheem was conscious of how Phum was reacting to Kleun being forward with him and he was neutral with K while showing his care to Phum. I would hate to see the story arc of Pheem getting confused by K and giving him a shot. And I’m glad Phum didn’t embarrass himself too much and walked away when he was feeling a lot. I’m really waiting for Phum to call off the deal so they can finally stop using that as an excuse. Tan and Fang have so much potential but there scenes are so repetitive like pls give them more depth. The backstory fight came out of nowhere like they were just punk ass aggressive guys all of a sudden. The way they got together was so sudden too just everything is sudden with them and Tan makes it so cartoonish. Q and Toey made no progress like man cried his heart out and professed his love but Q is there scratching his head huh… Even that crying scene felt so over dramatic all of a sudden but then to see it left them in the exact same spot is crazy. I get Q not knowing if he feels romantically about Toey or if he wants to commit but why’s he confused about how Toey feels. I wish Toey at least vocalized to Q that he knows he likes him or how he feels so it’s on Q now and at least Chain is being direct and hitting on him. I need Toey to call Q out like u said u would hit on Toey too and kissed him so now what. But now this jealousy game is exactly like it was before the confession like how.. what’s the point. I feel like there’s too much filler when there’s so much that needs to get shown there shouldn’t even be fillers.

Another question I have is about whether Way has mind controlling powers. At the outdoor noddle place he looks into Babe’s eyes and says to forget about Charlie and come back to normal and Babe just sits stiffly while staring back and then seems to shake out of it. I think it happens in the Hospital too.
I really appreciate that the show got extended to 50 mins cause who knows when we’ll see them again but how much CGI will there really be. This isn’t Netflix making avatar the air bender it’s literally a cheesy simple romcom with I’m sure some cringe in it. The little teaser gave a more serious vibe but it’s actually more funny/cute so I really wonder is there really gonna be CGI throughout the eps or just one little moment per ep. I 100% believe after they got a verbal lashing for the bad poster they quickly went back to the drawing board to save themselves. I’m sure they thought JBC fans will be happy with any content seeing as they paid more for that spoiler event and have been pretty supportive. I bet they didn’t expect the harsh criticism they received.
I kneeew this company was shady things were going a bit too smoothly when Mews cat show with them had so many delays and ghosting and apparently a whole team was fired so when I saw his show was releasing in April but Wuju that started filming way later is getting released first I was doubtful.
Mann why did they have to rush the last 12 mins you really gonna add a whole donation surgery plot and a post surgery plot in the last couple mins please be serious. Really frustrating how they kept repetitive or empty parts in but rushed the end it just feels so disrespectful like they threw a bandage on top of it & tied it with a ribbon there done your all fixed now.
The last episode was packed but also feels not fleshed out enough. Kinda hate the 2 montage of clips it was too long when we could’ve gotten more story. The way the reunion was orchestrated was anticlimactic Tharn was just plopped down in a grassy field was so random. I really wonder what the special ep will be like will it be about Tharns pov during the time away plus a look forward for them. Seems like a lot to put in a special I hope it’s a mini season type of thing.
I really thought the show would pick up after Achi confessed but I just keep wanting more from this show. I think I don’t like Achi he has such a somber vibe he’s kinda lifeless when it’s not him reacting to his power. I see him be more lively while he’s with Jinta otherwise he kinda brings my mood down. I get he feels like a background character with no growth but his character still feels really dull even with all the social growth he’s done. The Jap version felt more lively even when he also had low self esteem probably due to the quirkiness and the comedy.
The ending two episodes became redundant to me it’s just too much back and forth with the eye operation & them getting back together. They could’ve cut the whole first operation scene& just have Day rejected for the donation because of his eye infection that the hospital should’ve caught anyways and that would still push the story of Day loosing hope.
The whole airport scene could’ve been cut if they weren’t gonna reunite there or cut Night bringing Day back to the wedding hall like why do we need all that. How did Mohk even get off the flight in time if the worker said no one was missing from the plane. It’s just all unnecessary scenes when we much rather see Day recover from blindness. The last part was 16 mins with ends credits and all and they really forced every big development into that. We went 3 years in the future to 3 years in the past to the surgery and then assuming back to 3 years in the future where Day is now finally a normal man. The time skips really need to be eliminated as an option for Aof.
I also found it off that Day kept talking about Me and himself just hoping to be back to normal which I feel is different from the message the show was portraying that being blind and being normal can co exist. I get hope was a theme but I never saw it as hope to get out of a disability but hope for things to get better and cope better and be happier no matter ur situation. I expected some voice over speech of how Day did find his purpose and happiness while blind but that also made him appreciate the opportunity to see again and he doesn’t regret trying with the donation because he knows he’s happy whether it works or not. I still enjoyed the show and don’t think the ending ruined it but I just don’t understand this rush.
