I was very happy with all the discoveries in episode 26
i'm impressed with how the revelation happened. The shock and dismay on Le Zhi's and Xing Zhou's faces were priceless and to have it happen so publicly after Le Zhi tried to shame Shu Yi at the party, giving Shu Yi a chance to say her piece, serves the mistress right. And now, the reckoning between Shi Yan and Shu Yi promises to be riveting.
Agree. She needs a rude awakening . He has been patient for too long. The lying is definitely second nature for…
i'm afraid current nurturing practices are creating over-confident and selfish children who think of themselves as the center of the universe whose whims need to be catered to by parents, teachers, government, etc.

so true! i think they got puffed up with their successful careers they became over-confident and selfish, just thinking of their own enjoyment not considering other people's feelings
Well the ML can be some embodiment of Mr. Darcy but out FL is no Eliza Bennet
LOL agree. For all her prejudice, Lizzy never lied nor acted like a 2-year-old, though it did take her a long time to realize her mistake about Mr. Darcy's character. even fancying herself attracted to Wickham π

Rude awakening is the perfect word. Pathological lying is a mental heath issue that even experts find challenging to cure. Shu Yi probably excuses her lies as harmless "white lies". But white lies are still lies. And they are never harmless. Getting used to them could lead to pathological lying. Perhaps a rude awakeing is what she needs to come to her senses.
Shiyanβs car was at the hospital where Shuyi saw her ex w/ mistress. Shiyan was at home. So some of us think…
Yeah, this knot had gotten wound up so tight, it was time for it to unravel. Though I feel sorry for Shi Yan, I love the way it happened, the way Le Zhi and Xing Zhou found out and how Shu Yi finds herself in a tight spot for her lies. She deserves to suffer for that tendency of hers to lie so easily.
Xing Zhou most probably told her since that is what he thinks. In ep 22, when Xing Zhou went to talk to Shu Yi…
my heart was heavy from the moment Shi Yan harbored suspicions about Shu Yi's intentions when he asked her to explain the situation but she would not talk to him in the car. That was the perfect time for her to come clean. Argh, I wanted to strangle the truth out of her then π€¬
How the hell Qin le zhi find out that shu yi approached shi yan to take revenge on the ex
Xing Zhou most probably told her since that is what he thinks. In ep 22, when Xing Zhou went to talk to Shu Yi about her getting involved with a married man then saw her getting into Shi Yan's car, he asked her if she's taking revenge on him. This is the reason Shu Yi does not want to see both Shi Yan and "the niece" at the same time coz she was afraid Le Zhi and Xing Zhou would tell Shi Yan so.
This is the first time that I approve of a break-up between leads in a drama. Shu Yi needs a comeuppance for the many lies she told. She lied so easliy, to Shiyan, her parents, her officemates, etc. It was second nature to her. Hoping a jolt like this can straighten her out for good.
Recalling a sweet scene while waiting for the next episode: In hotel elevator after saving her from thugs: SY: Don't you know how attractive you are? ZSY: (softly poking his chest) Well then... did I manage to attract you? Think carefully before you answer SY: (puts ZSY's palm against his heart) Why don't you feel it for yourself?
(He kisses her gently)
Our naughty girl wants more and keeps telling SY she hardly felt the kiss and wants him to do it again πππ
Chinese entertainment is so dirty. So, it's quite possible the production teams of dramas that do well in douban…
i loved Ever Night 2. However, I understood the disappointment of the fans of the first season. I had wondered then who was taking care of Dylan's career that they'd let him do such an unpopular move as taking over another popular actor's role not even two years after the first season. The memory of season 1 was still fresh in fans' minds when season 2 dropped.
Having said that, I thought Dylan did a wonderful job. He is definitely a handsomer Ning Que. In fact, I liked the story so much I read the novel after watching S2 as I couldn't wait for season 3.
Hello . . . Reading behind your lines of logical thoughts here . . One will notice how the word fans / fanatics…
wow, thanks for the info about the origin of the word fanatic. excessive idol-worship has been known even during Beatles' time. But I think the toxicity rose with the popularity of social media. The monetization of toxicity is taking the evil of social media to new heights.
Man just keeps messing up with everything he touches. Social media coulld have been this great tool to connect people of all ages and races. Instead, it is now crawling with vermin.
I am hoping with more international platforms that the C Drama fans will start calming down. I can't believe how…
that is what is scary about the chinese entertainment industry. the mob mentality is ferocious. once they zero in on a person, like zzh, all hell breaks loose. his past achievements and contributions to the industry were just tossed away like nothing. the reason for his cancellation was rather flimsy too compared to the punishment. it just started with a photo, not even a recent one.
this is why i keep wondering why chinese celebrities do what they are doing. feels like they're standing on a quicksand
