after everything we went through for this couple, you’re telling me I don’t get to see the wedding ceremony?!!!!!!!No wedding party at least and no happily ever after?!😭 To compensate me for the war I went through with this couple, a whole episode with the wedding, the happier sisters and their families (baby Li at least), the affectionate Janglai and Shanbao (and the baby they have ofc!) and most importantlythe ever bickering Janglia and Shanbao. I went through so many arcs for this and didn’t even get it 😭😭 it’s not fair Execution has holes here and there but entertainment value was pretty high. idk if this can be binged though. it was pretty tedious. I kept wondering when evil would stop prevailing because the couple and other characters barely had a moment to breathe fr
I don’t think the FL ever directly blames the ML in this trope — it’s more about how deeply intertwined…
Even in reality, I feel the situation would be difficult to manage. Because being in a relationship with someone means becoming family, that includes his family, too. Every time her dad looks at him, wouldn't he be reminded of what happened? It would seem to her family that she's not considerate of her dad. It's not his fault, but somehow, he's too close to the situation that caused her family so much pain. They can be together, but it'll be a lot to digest. She'd have to convince her family that she loves him a lot, or they probably would have a hard time accepting him. If she knew at first, it might be more manageable, but the fact that she'll find out later is a big problem. I'm not looking forward to that.
They both froze, but the wristwatch only started beeping when she noticed him looking at her like that 😩 technically this is his fault 😂😭 This family connection is so unfortunate, though
Tbh, I feel like I disagree with a lot of the comments, and the main reason is that I started this show purely…
I agree 100%. They were raised like princes fighting for one throne, so they're pretty cruel. That's not too shocking, Their family is a palace of it's own. I've watched enough palace dramas to recognize they dynamics too
This just came to me.I think we need to look at this romance in a different way. Rong Shan Bao is a different…
Posted this as a reply in earlier comment but it works here too so:
I agree. She showed him the height of sincerity by waiting at the altar that day to be married. He lied to her, so of course, she shut the door again. He's basically at stage 1 all over again. Even when everyone warned her to be careful, and there were signs that he may have lied to her, she didn't push too hard. She let herself trust him. Even when the evidence was right in front of her face, she didn't push the investigation to lengths she could have, and that's how she was left at the altar. Someone with such high walls, left at the altar... the fact that she even speaks to him. Anyway, she's originally a cold person, was raised that way and won't change overnight, so I don't know what people are expecting.
He's in a position where he can protect her in this case, and not exactly the other way around. She's not touchy-feely or sappy, but she shows care plenty. The fact that she didn't kill him that day is already a miracle. She's the same person that insisted that he stay in her room even if they weren't engaged and asked to be "husband and wife". She draws lines clearly in front of other men to the point of rudeness and lets him do the same. If you want a partner that's touchy-feely then why not go for someone like that in the first place. Why are people expecting it from someone who isn't already like that? She's not touchy-feely but her actions make it clear that he's important to her. She shows concern differently.
He's not doubting that she likes him or debating about it. He's just waiting for her defenses to drop again- and they will, but because of their original dynamic, she'll always be a little stubborn with him anyway. When you're interested in someone you should look clearly at what they're like before thinking about going after them. He knows what she's like so he'll wait.
I didn’t think that there would be so many people not liking Shen Bao because she doesn’t show her love ?…
