I'm not hating on this but it would have been great as a 24. Episode drama with 30 being the maximum!! And I hate…

It's a great policy for consistency, but I feel like exceptions would be good, like in this case.

Am I the only one who found ep 9 so toxic?! when she thought he has a son and treated him so badly. I would get…
I'd say the biggest reason she was mad was that he didn't tell her he had a kid. In China, if you've had a kid, it's considered a special situation, so if you date someone like this, when you've never been married, lots of people will ask you why you're dating a person who has a kid when you haven't been married yet. The main point is that, if it were true, and he didn't tell her about his "special situation" early on, then in their culture, it would be considered taking advantage of her. It looks like he's taking advantage of her youth or naivete because he didn't tell her and wants her to fall in love with him first before she fully understands the situation. That's why their reaction was like that anyway

Okay, so guys I don't like the scene where they kiss for the first time - let me explain why! She is drunk, and…
It's okay, I agree. The director should've been more careful on this point. IMO, we've definitely gotten to a point where consensus in the drama universe where a kiss should be avoided when a character is drunk, but many dramas still miss this point. It's not like things in a drama need to be perfect, but I personally think it's always a good opportunity to also teach the general public about consent when someone is drunk. She was drunk. Whatever she says in that state now doesn't count,

I loved this so much. I went in with low expectations because I'd heard that it was overly light and didn't have much going on in the plot. That's not the case. It does have a couple of filler episodes, maybe 5 or 6, but considering the vibe of the show, I was happy to watch them. I was looking for a show that shows simple daily human lives without much pressure. I think it fits that well to an extent, but the show is not shallow and has some angst, so I wouldn't say it even fits that completely. It's still a good mindset to be in when you watch it: simple, with some heart. But it's really great. Maybe it's because I binged it, but the pace was pretty good to me. Of course, it isn't perfect, but for a romance show, it's pretty darn good

idk man I enjoyed watching this drama so much for me it didn't feel like it was dragging or something might be…
I’m really shocked rn because I previously read about pacing issues and people complaining that the show was too linght and empty. Even after finishing it I’m wondering if it’s really this show they were talking about because how? It’s so good though

in the original webtoon, jun-seo’s real ā€œtriggerā€ isn’t moral outrage or any concern for public safety.…
It's a very interesting pov and I agree but, I can't properly be mad at him because when they were young, she created this narrative that he needed to be there for her and protect her and help her at all times because of what his mom did, so he grew up with the idea that Ahjin would continuously need him and depend on him and eventually could not accept a world where that would not be the case. It grew into an obsession and entitlement towards her existence because he kept rejecting a world where she wasn't something that belonged to him. I don't think he's a sociopath, but her manipulation definitely warped him into something. I'm sure he has something, but I'm not sure what it would be called.

Fr, I remember after the first 4 episodes aired, a lot of people here suddenly turned into moral police toward…
I was shocked. They didn't understand that a show/story can simply explore themes. The show isn't telling you to be evil, or that being evil is okay; it's just something that happened in a story and the consequences of that within that story. This is what happens when literature class isn't made compulsory for everyone. That's why when some people- especially politicians who have a say and vote on these things- say the arts and humanities subjects are useless, I side-eye them and think "It's because of shallow people like you that we can't have nice things".

Are you kidding me? Jun Seo, this ****. You should've at least taken Mr. Moon with you too. Mr. Moon is objectively worse. How is this fair? So Jae Oh died for nothing? At least make it count😭
Also, why does that fool Seong Hee get to be in the expose? That **** deserved every single thing she went through. If you're going to expose her at least condemn what needs condemning. Seonghee is a narcissist and a liar.
I can't believe she crawled out of that car with Jun Seo in it. Junseo-ya, you should've made sure she went with you if you were going to work so hard on it. I was about to be pissed that he didn't take his damned mother with him until the "one last happy moment" comment. That was too funny. She went and fell down the stairs? I hope she didn't die. She deserved to live in a world without the cash cow she raised as a son.
A lot of people got hurt as Ahjin tried to climb the ladder. I'm guessing Jun Seo is worried that more people will get hurt even if she's at the top? But she's never hurt anyone for fun before. She starts attacking when she gets attacked first. If Mr Moon went down, she would've had everything and no more excuses. However, it's life; can people ever stop coming at her, especially as a celebrity? If it continues, how many more people will get hurt in her plans? So there's that. But still, that exposure- "he emotions seemed rehearsed"- yeah, because she can't feel them. "She had no mother, and her father was a criminal"- yeah, but that wasn't her fault. A lot of people got hurt (Her boss, manager, and In Gang), but I mean, judge what needs to be judged, but these parts of her childhood, she had no control over. Also, couldn't the expose wait till the day after the award show? Did he have to do her like that? To strip her of hope? bruh, if he was going to do all that, he should've taken Husband MoonPsycho down too, let it at least be fair. But this girl doesn't die. Damn, she's like a stubborn cockroach. Jun Seo was a shackle she created while they were young, so it's not too shocking that he held on so tight.
Sis crawled out of the gutter as she always does. Not that shocking for her. If you think about it she should have died a long time ago, but life keeps keeping her alive. I'm sure that's what her laughter in the last shot was about- how crazy her life is.
Also, this director is really, really good. The last couple of shots? Amazing

They broke up after a long relationship. Lee Hye-ri threw a fit on Instagram after he was spotted with someone…
She didn’t throw a ā€œfitā€ though. She wrote a low-key shady comment that wasn’t insulting. It was when So Hee crashed out that everyone started asking what really happened and started taking sides. saying ā€œIt’s funā€ over a spat with your ex isnt evil. It was an emotional response from Hyeri but it was Sohee’s reaction to that escalated the issue when it was RJY Hyeri was shading anyway. The point is- calling that evil is a bit much. Emotional and careless- I’ll agree there. So Hee came out to defend herself, saying that their relationships didn’t overlap, which would have been totally okay, but she used a photo of a dog holding a knife as the background and so the situation blew up from there. Hyeri wasn’t attacking her in the first place, that’s why it became a mess. Anyway, I agree that it was smart that RJY didn’t comment on the situation. At the time it was crazy hot discussion. I think people would have been more incensed if he said anything
