There is a second season coming out but there are billing fights with the two main leads/their fans so hopefully that won't affect the actual plot. 💀

Same, I usually don't care for the modern adult romance genre with C-dramas that much, but this one really showed me there /can/ be a well written one.

I loved Imperial Coroner too! That drama was a dark horse too. Another drama that had well-rounded characters and naturally developed relationships while also focusing on their jobs.

That scene with SCC and TQ in the library with SCC seeing TQ's face as his younger self while the lyrics "It's him, from my memories..." is playing in the background and then herself as her younger self too. 💕

Their beginning started a loooong time ago on the wrong footing but that moment right there is her allowing herself to like him again and admitting that she loved him all along. All the filters disappeared, their younger selves without the thriller filter (from his POV) nor the one-sided romantic filter (from her POV). Just them with their past and present finally on the same page.

The way their romance only "confirms" now but their beginning has started long time ago is just chef's kiss. Soulmates truly.

Every episode got like 5+ things happening, but they are paced so well and just makes so much sense. Definitely a drama with a high rewatch value.

He finally got to be with her after all haha.

I think sometimes these idol romance dramas are great if you don't want to think too deep about it and just ship two hot/cute people together or imagine yourself in that position. But I think for some viewers like me who tend to want a well-rounded FL, it hurts my soul to see how some of these dramas portray the FLs lol.
