Yes, also I lowkey blame the way production has been editing these preview clips. I think they do it on purpose to generate discussion/hate. They made them so dramatic and act like ML is suffering left and right because of FL/other characters but when you watch the actual episode, it is just a lot of plotting + the angst doesn't truly last that long either.

And I can see Madam Rong being super pissed and dragging Wei Zhao even more into it if the Master didn't show. 💀

Script writer said all characters will experience regret! 😔 Jiang Ci would have been able to have them both talk more and share more info but alas.

Lmaoooo, the way the "affair" theme is going on even in prison.

Nope, they did question why Dong Second Lady took this servant along (when this servant is supposed to prepare for the wedding) and probably would have reported it right away. They then would have found out that Jiang Ci left the wedding. Dong Second Lady will be heavily implicated here (she won't be able to escape this) aka aiding not only Jiang Ci leaving, but a whole assassin. Her family would be dragged into it (remember her sister is also the crown prince's wife).

It was doable with only Jiang Ci because no one knew Jiang Ci was in that carriage. But for Dong Second Lady to take the Master with her, Dong Second Lady would have to publicly make that request in front of the other servants and guards.

Especially the prison scene.

Haven't watched episode 34 yet but shippers are saying it is actually pretty sweet LMAO.

She did remember? She and Wei Zhao left the palace together to go see her to give her the Porridge. But that's when they found out she was kidnapped. So Jiang Ci never got to meet her Master again until the wedding scene.

They will have to work together for sure since they will have a common enemy/goal. 💪

Same! It is just unfortunate some of the viewers are biased like that so they can't seem to watch this drama in a bigger picture. They hyper focused only on the ML. I don't even see this amount of intensity towards the emperor and Madam Rong for causing all of this. The Douyin comments under the official drama channel has been a mess the past few days and it is hurting the viewing experience for casual viewers.

Yup, her Master at the end of the day has really tried to protect her even as she was dying. 🥲
