I am trying to calculate how long Wei Zhao and Jiang Ci have known each other and it is probably around 6-7 months only. Jiang Ci came down the mountains and is said she will meet with her master at the island in 3 months (around Autumn). She passed Winter (indicated by the snow) in Yue Luo and the flowers she planted are now blooming (nearing Spring). Yeah sorry, I too would have chosen the woman who raised me for 18-20 years than a man I knew for around 6-7 months (logically speaking). 😂🏃

Right, I thought we have been watching this drama long enough to be able to see from all characters' POV and feel for all of them. I shouldn't have been surprised though since it is the same pattern when it comes to MLs and FLs having misunderstandings/arguments. Still remember all the comments I saw trashing the FL in "Love like the Galaxy" for being upset at the ML as ML was seeking his revenge.

Right! I can't stop looking at her eyes because her eyes are just so pretty. Also when she was locked up in that cage with messy hair and dirt on her face. I was like wow, she is really pretty here LMAO. 😂

One thing I appreciate a lot about this drama is that all the characters are moving pieces. None of them are stagnant and within the palms of the main characters' hands. You have Lu Yu doing what he is doing while the emperor is also making moves. Wei Zhao and Pei Yan are the two MLs generally making the moves but at the end of the day, both don't have everything under control when the supporting characters are all making moves to benefit themselves which then ruin their plans/expectations (example: Wei Zhao was planning for the war to end before the master got there but alas).

He paused a bit when he saw her behind Pei Yan and then asked his subordinate if that was the maid Pei Yan was protecting. It was already foreshadowed then that Jiang Ci looked familiar to him (since Lu Yu even said Jiang Ci does look a bit like Prince Qi). What a great set up. It seemed like a passing scene, but it meant so much more.

Don't know if anyone remembered when the emperor saw Jiang Ci back at the birthday banquet...

Loved Li Landi's eyes changing when she was taken away. You can literally see all the emotions coming through, just very good acting.

How would she know he is the victim? Based on her POV, his family is the one who actually destroyed her family. From her master's POV, he is the one who lured Jiang Ci to Yue Luo, the one who got her locked her, choked her, etc. Not to mention their first meeting was him going at her in the battlefield and demanding her to go with him when she was already on alert with him. I do not think any of the characters involved right now did anything wrong because they are all making decisions based on their own knowledge. Wei Zhao believes his dad is innocent because that's his dad, there is no other evidence right now to prove that he /is/ innocent. We know he is because spoilers + we saw how his dad is like from Wei Zhao's POV. Not even Wei Zhao's clan members besides a few believed his dad was innocent, let alone for the master to believe it when she isn't even related to them.

Li Landi in that horseback scene in episode 28 as Jiang Ci had all that flashbacks... her acting is amazinggggg. The way her eyes changed from questioning, disbelief, anger, disappointment, and now perhaps even hate. WOW.

I will always applaud this cast for their acting because they have so many minute-to-minute emotional changes so they have to be able to convey that.

No duh because the sister ended up marrying the emperor (who supposedly killed her father). Which makes Wei Zhao the emperor's brother-in-law. Why would the master /not/ think they are involved when the two siblings became so close with the Liang court?

Yue Luo's side sending the cotton poop back to Lu Yu's side. 😂😂😂 The battle taking place as they got all that waste flying around them LMAO.

LOL, the reactions from C-side are actually the complete opposite because they think they are even more shippable with the angst. Because despite the misunderstanding, they are still being "civil" (especially with the previews) and their love for each other does leak through despite it all.
