Yeah, I not here for viewers trying to drag Jiang Ci. Of course Jiang Ci would trust her master over Wei Zhao.…
Talking about slapping her and how she deserves to die when I have not seen these types of aggressive comments toward the MLs even when they physically harmed her in the beginning. I am more disappointed with the comments here than anything. I thought the viewers here would be more sensitive and compassionate and have the ability to see all the characters' POV (even when they think they are bad decisions since viewers have bird's eyes views of everything) but I was wrong.
Yeah, I not here for viewers trying to drag Jiang Ci. Of course Jiang Ci would trust her master over Wei Zhao. Her master literally raised her from birth and is the one person Jiang Ci has loved all her life. Why would she trust any of the two men (who has both been using her even as of the latest episode despite starting to develop feelings) over the one person in her life who has been with her since birth?
Her master had to receive the news of her brother-in-law being killed and saw her sister dying in front of her. She doesn't know the truth either but yeah, let's blame this poor woman who is just trying to protect her niece from someone who she thought was the son of the man who destroyed her family (from what she thought she knew). Some of these comments... yeah, I knew this was going to happen. FLs will always get hated on massively for daring to not believe or listen to the MLs regardless of her not having the full truths because that's the ML and you are supposed to only believe in him.
God forbid if ML's father was the actual one who killed her family then what? It just so happens the story didn't make it this way and we know that.
Damn I am really Pissed off with jiangci today wth how can you be all of sudden soo stupid, dumb. You have seen…
Her master literally raised her since she was young? Of course she did trust her master over the two men who has been using her even if there were feelings involved?
When Wei Zhao bowed to Jiang Ci for saving his people??? The respect and admiration?? They didn't simply fall…
Yes!! It really makes their characters so much more than just for the romance. Because regardless of the romance, Jiang Ci will always have that sense of justice and Wei Zhao will always strive to seek the truth/defend his people.
The romance development between our leads is absolutely amazing because...
When Wei Zhao bowed to Jiang Ci for saving his people??? The respect and admiration?? They didn't simply fall in love because they had to, there are more and more reasons every day for them to love each other. I love them and I hope they get the happy ending they deserve in some shape or form.
I just love the way Jiang Ci's connections with the medical world/saving lives continues to grow because it matches…
From her knowledge of herbs/plants since she was young living in the mountains, to the medical books given to her by Cui Liang, to her using that knowledge for pranks, then using it to help others with their wounds, then now in the middle of a war... just very well written development. Jiang Ci always has a sense of justice in her heart, so this type of career really suits her.
Losing my mind... Wei Zhao and Jiang Ci were interrupted TWICE:
Wei Zhao was so close to telling her about the clay cat and Jiang Ci was going to confess her feelings which might have led Wei Zhao to share his secrets too... fate (aka writer) really said nope, we need some more angst first with the master beforehand.
Episode 26... jesus, they really didn't hold back on the war aspect from diseases to blackmailing... Pei Yan...…
It is also no wonder not just anyone can be the City Lord, look at those two other elders about to risk everyone's else lives. 💀 Wei Zhao is really the only one here thinking of the bigger picture.
Episode 26... jesus, they really didn't hold back on the war aspect from diseases to blackmailing... Pei Yan... sir... please stand in the corner and think about what you have done.
Some cute tidbits from the cast based on their recent interviews for LoN:
-LLD said RJL is like Olaf from "Frozen" with the way he sometimes moves, his humor, and just his cute expressions in general. 😂 -LLD has read RJL's famous prince essays/posts LMAO. -Jeremy said LLD has the kind of smile that melts people's hearts so when she smiles, everyone around her just melts. -RJL said he and LLD have great acting rapport and she is able to respond to him well during their scenes. -Jeremy also mentioned that LLD and him are both into Ultraman (as he also played him before) so LLD got everyone an Ultraman curtain they used for their acting vans.
I will update if I see any more interviews/clips of our main trio.
Hey guys, I just started with ep1, but could someone spoil for me if Jeremy is playing a villain in this drama?…
He is not really a "villain" but he does exhibit bad behaviors when it comes to Jiang Ci (FL) later on (there are bigger villains to fry in this drama). He is a morally grey character just like the ML/Wei Zhao. Pei Yan is an interesting character and he is getting his development slowly and in due time.
I'm happy my talented actress Li Lan Di (Jiang Ci) used her own voice in this drama. But I'm sad that they used…
This is not shade towards any of the actors/actresses but pronunciation/tone should have been developed even as they were rookies. As their acting gets better, so should their voice. But unfortunately, a lot of the actors/actresses neglect this aspect and don't care enough to improve on it. Because they know they have the option to get dubbed and practicing voice is something that needs actual effort and time (it is not something that can get better in a day or two), it is not something that looking handsome/pretty or being filmed a certain way to cover up average acting can cover up.
It is not something non-Chinese speaking/hearing audience might pick up but for those who understand Chinese, voice IS a part of acting. Good actors/actresses can adjust their tone and pacing to suit the characters. A lot of the current generation actors/actresses sadly don't have that ability, they either say the words inaccurately or can't say the dialogue at the correct pace so they run out of breath. It ends up affecting the overall presentation of the character. It is also why we need Chinese subtitles too, even if the dialect spoken is standard, a lot of the current actors/actresses' dialogue is very murky so without the subtitles, you can't even understand some of them sometimes. That's how bad it is.
One aspect that Wei Zhao probably has to work on (though I also get /why/ he can't):
His communication skills LOL. Jiang Ci has asked him around 2-3 times to share his past and she really only found out while they were at Yue Luo and saw his interactions with others (not coming from himself). Then there is the whole thing with her master. At this stage, Wei Zhao sharing that her master might be involved in the truth he is seeking and that he needed to find her would probably have led to Jiang Ci working with him. I saw some script spoiler about what happens later on and I am like... Wei Zhao!!! Use your words. 😠Jiang Ci is willing to listen and understand but you got to let her know. At least their misunderstanding later on didn't last long but still.
I do get why he is like this though, he has kept too much to himself for years and it is hard for him to truly share things in words. He does so via actions but well, he will get there as they get through the angst part of their journey.
